we had to do the same thing a few years ago with our Border Collie. We got him when i was born in '89. He had a brain problem that there was no cure for. the vet said he would live for another year but he would be in pain the whole time. we had a family meeting, and came to the agreement to have him put down. it was hard times, but we felt that the decision was best for him. he wouldn't have to be in pain anymore. my best wishes to you guys. do whats best for the dog.

that thing is nice! the floors are most likely mint just like the rest of the truck. it all depends on what you want to spend. i know if that was for sale down the road, i would buy it for a maximum of $2250 but thats me. it makes me wish i lived somewhere that doesn't get snow, but i do love snow so...

:dunno: i guess thats a northern thing, down here body condition is a second thing you look for after mechanical condition. yeah, it is a northern thing. I agree with Pat, swapping anything mechanical can be done fairly easy. I did all the body work on my truck and don't really like how it turned out. I wish i would have spent the money on a nice southern truck instead.

The mileage isn't that bad. I've seen 4.0's in the 300k range. If the body is mint, which it probably is if its in Cali, then i would probably pay $2000 for it. I payed $900 for mine but it was rusted above both rear fenders, rockers were gone, and the paint was completely faded.

yeah that is a helper spring and those are factory mirrors. i had those mirrors on my 88 Sportruck.
