what do you like about them, the letters and numbers? i didn't think that they were personalized.

that thing is nice! the floors are most likely mint just like the rest of the truck. it all depends on what you want to spend. i know if that was for sale down the road, i would buy it for a maximum of $2250 but thats me. it makes me wish i lived somewhere that doesn't get snow, but i do love snow so...

:dunno: i guess thats a northern thing, down here body condition is a second thing you look for after mechanical condition. yeah, it is a northern thing. I agree with Pat, swapping anything mechanical can be done fairly easy. I did all the body work on my truck and don't really like how it turned out. I wish i would have spent the money on a nice southern truck instead.

The mileage isn't that bad. I've seen 4.0's in the 300k range. If the body is mint, which it probably is if its in Cali, then i would probably pay $2000 for it. I payed $900 for mine but it was rusted above both rear fenders, rockers were gone, and the paint was completely faded.

yeah that is a helper spring and those are factory mirrors. i had those mirrors on my 88 Sportruck.

yeah, it looks pretty tight for compound turbos. A family friend owns a local diesel performance shop (Huckstorf Diesel hdiesel.com) and they put a twin turbo 4bta cummins in a F-250 and that thing absolutely ripped. it would smoke the tires with ease.

I'm not saying that i wouldn't buy, but i know that MJ's are not the best set up for plowing. And, around my area, almost every plow truck is BEAT because of all the salt they lay down and what not. But everyone has there own opinions :D

88 MJ Sportruck. Blue, 2wd, pretty decent body. Bought it for $1000 and had that for about 8 months, then sold that and bought my current MJ in stock form. Here is a pic

It involves a ton of work from what I have seen. It would also reguire stronger driveline parts to deal with the torque. It's a cummins 4bt engine. Go here to learn more. http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/index.php I think one would be sweet. it would be awesome to have, but with the price of diesel fuel right now, it wouldn't be practical. the last i saw, it was at $3.55 compared to $3.05 for gasoline.
