  1. like the saying goes, there is nothing that more throttle can't make worse.
  2. yeah, that looks like my kind of job
  3. yeah, it looks pretty tight for compound turbos. A family friend owns a local diesel performance shop (Huckstorf Diesel hdiesel.com) and they put a twin turbo 4bta cummins in a F-250 and that thing absolutely ripped. it would smoke the tires with ease.
  4. I'm not saying that i wouldn't buy, but i know that MJ's are not the best set up for plowing. And, around my area, almost every plow truck is BEAT because of all the salt they lay down and what not. But everyone has there own opinions :D
  5. 88 MJ Sportruck. Blue, 2wd, pretty decent body. Bought it for $1000 and had that for about 8 months, then sold that and bought my current MJ in stock form. Here is a pic
  6. i though you got rid of that thing, because the last few times i've been over, he wasn't around.
  7. welcome to the site. do you want to trade trucks straight up? haha. i love your truck. the engine looks like it is factory! looks like you could fit compound turbos ;)
  8. It involves a ton of work from what I have seen. It would also reguire stronger driveline parts to deal with the torque. It's a cummins 4bt engine. Go here to learn more. http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/index.php I think one would be sweet. it would be awesome to have, but with the price of diesel fuel right now, it wouldn't be practical. the last i saw, it was at $3.55 compared to $3.05 for gasoline.
  9.
  10. Plow=Bad news
  11. the engine is used in step vans like bread trucks and stuff like that. They produce around 125hp and 350 ft. lb torque. i have no clue what the swap involves. All i know is i want one in my jeep
  12. check out this 4cyl Cummins powered MJ doing a burnout.
  13. it looks like it is ready for a trip to the Badlands!
  14. i would go with a new leaf pack for the rear. add a leafs ride like crap and usually sag. i pieced my front together so i don't know about whole kits.
  15. i have a manual proportioning valve from Summit mounting under the hood. it works pretty good.

  17. it looks like you have plenty of room for 35s! 8)
  18. welcome back Joe!
  19. man those trucks are wide!
  20. what my dad did a few years ago when he bough his Bronco in Kentucky was buy a 1 way ticket to the nearest airport. he had the guy meet him there with the truck, he paid him and then drove back to Wisconsin. i'm sure with all of the terrorists stuff going on, you will be seriously questioned for buying a 1 way ticket with no baggage.
  21. cool  :chillin:
  22. i would definatly get rid of the 35. it is going to break sooner or later. go with the 8.8 or Dana 44.
  23. thats as much as i put on my truck since i got it in June '06
