i always thought flowmaster 40s sounded decent on a 4.0. i run one with no cat and it sounds good at idle. high revs sounds like crap, but so does anything on a 4.0.

i don't drive mine on road much anymore, but i've gotten quite a few offers thru the years. hell, i saw my now current eliminator sitting on the side of a garage for months and it never seemed to move. didnt have a for sale sign though. i figured i would write a note and slip it in the mailbox with my number to see if he was interested in selling. as i was writing the note, the guy came outside so i approaced him. $900 later, i was the owner of an 89 eliminator. never know if you don't ask...

First piece of the puzzle

this most XJ/MJ kits were really only ever installed on an XJ. the MJ gets cab supports that are often in the way of the long arm mounts. i bet what you have will work, it will just need some trimming.

that won't work

companies are marketing these as one ton steering kits, but in actuality its just DOM and heims. is it stronger than stock? most likely (depending on quality of components).

if you run 35s, youll have you trim no matter what you do with the truck. the wheel opening is only so big. i had skinny 33s with 6.5" lift and still had to trim some of the flares.

there is about an 80% of that weekend working for me. i don't think i will have to work that weekend, but there is a chance i will end having to. i wouldnt really know until about a week or two before that.

big rock. not sure how you'd protect the doors. what sucks is usually i run doorless or tube doors but its too cold for that in the winter lol.

Living so close to an off-road park has been awesome but it’s taking a toll on my Jeep. Took out the pass side glass on Sunday and put a good sized dent in the door. Also got to wheel with Austin and his freshly built MJ. Thing is crazy nice and will be inspiration for my redo.
