  1. Hey guys, Talking to my cousin about building a rollbar for my SWB. Hoping somebody could help out with some dimensions and/or photos. Base width, middle (top of bed), top, and then the kickers. I have done searches, but can't find anything online other than the base of the bed is 55.5", top is 56", total width 61"
  2. For a couple inches, the popular answer seems to be coil spacers and Chevy 2" drop shackles
  3. Evening chaps, Looking at doing a small lift to my jeep. 2" Spacers front, and chevy drop shackles in the rear. Will I need any other parts for this? Or on that note, what do you guys recommend for a 221k Jeep with mostly original parts? I am most likely going to replace the front brake lines w/ some YJ lines so I never have to worry about too much stretching. Also- will my 235/75's look small with that lift?
  4. Well thats tempting... Wonder if thats more cost efficient than recovering my board?
  5. How hard was that to wire in?
  6. Awesome, Thanks. I'll PM you my phone number if that is easier as well
  7. Sounds perfect, but the LWB bars won't fit a shortbed sadly.
  8. Bump, still looking
  9. I have the pleasure of being in Atlanta for this one.... I have literally laughed at many people who I hear in public freaking out over 2-3" of snow. Wimps
  10. Looks really nice to me! Wow stock tires are small. Even my 235's look big next to those. Check out what people above say- floors, cab corners, rockers. Check for oil leaks and that standard stuff.

    WTB Rollbar

Looking for a rollbar that fits a SWB model. Located in the northeast or around the Atlanta area.
  12. How deep of a light does it allow? the 69's have (roughly) 2" behind centerpoint of the mount.
  13. Morning chaps, Trying to figure out how to mount some bigass lights to the front of my Comanche. They were originally going to go on a rollbar (when I finally find one that fits), but going a different route there. The bumper lights I have now are worthless. The stock holes won't work, since to use them the grill will have to be cut up. Any advice? Considering right now putting together a bracket similar to the one that comes with the Detours backbone system. Lights are KC 69-series.
  14. only thing keeping mine in check is the other projects
  15. Shorter. Short bed is a 6 foot. I actually wanted a long bed- but at 900 bucks, i couldnt pass this one up.
  16. Well this was a nice topic- after reading, I went to look if mine was still hooked up!
  17. Yeah. If the PO didnt decide to make a re truck orange, then more orange, then black... I would have kept the original paint. Well, it will look good in LJ1.
  18. Thanks man! I like your cobra as well! Hope to get a Comanche soon. My guess is we will be the only guys with a cobra and a Comanche lol Hey, mine whines like a cobra, can I join? :p Where are you out of? Ive seen a few nice Comanches up for sale as of late
  19. I agree with this. My 69 Chevelle was restored before we got it, and the guy admitted he broke even, barely- it still needs work, and even then its another 2-3k in parts (not including getting an original 68 L78 for it), and it wouldnt of increased the price at all. My MJ is close to the same- I could sell for a bit more than I'm in it, I think, but only because I got a deal on paint. Been there since May, maybe it will be back one day.
  20. Nope. Best bet is to try to get a previous registration
  21. Good ones up here I see for 6+. I got mine for 900, 0 rust. I am hoping that if I ever sell it up here in NY, i'll make some of my money back (In it for about 5k at this point.
  22. Interesting. Is there any way to adapt the Dakota brackets for those of us that can't weld?
  23. Not great- pretty thin. It works, but it was recommended I not use it much to prevent breaking.
  24. Yeah, i found that. I may try to copy the design or 3D print one
