Alright! Thanks guys. Knew it was fuel pump related as I unplugged it once and the truck shut down. But didn't know its true function. I guess a dumb by security system would be to leave this unplugged if you don't want any one stealing the truck

I agree to a point. For XJ, I really like the Euro tails but the amber is minimal. I also like the waggy talis that are all red, minus the backup of course. What seems odd about this is that these trucks came FROM THE FACTORY with Fully red tail lights. As do a lot of other vehicles. I guess it is one thing to be picky about something that is aftermarket, but factory? That sounds like a load of fail. I get why they did "its the american standard" but just odd that XJ/ZJ would have amber but the MJ wouldn't. Why the switch for just that one model

Noticed the other day. High beams work but indicator does not. Swapped bulb with the turn signal indicator buld (which I confirmed worked) and turn indicator still worked but high beam still didn't. How does the high beam indicator get its power?

that's what I think I'm going to end up doing, looks pretty good! a decent looking plate locations always been my killer. how far did you have the receiver square go in / how do you attach a hitch in that set up

My friend had almost the same problem in his 2 door XJ. In park could red line all day. In drive could only hit 1500-2000rpm and just stopped. Wouldn't rev higher. Ended up being a clogged fuel pump strainer in the tank. Replaced with new and has run great for the last year and a half. For anyone that may run into a similar situation
