  1. Also just bought a set of the Napier V2 flares! Should be in end of next week.
  2. That's not hard to fix. Couple of cut off wheels, a grinder (for lunch), and a spool of wire and that's good to go. I'd go over kill and probably find some 10-12ga and rebuild with that being there such large sections
  3. id put clear side marker lights in! it would make that chrome front end complete! other then that the truck is perfect. looks awesome
  4. don't believe it if you want, but they stated themselves it would be free. they even referenced the fact I said 1990 model
  5. yep free of charge! posted it for that reason, if I wasn't 2500mi away I would!
  6. Just had a conversation with UHAUL. About a hitch for MJs. They said they can make/ship me a custom one for ONE THOUSAND dollars or if you can go to AZ to there factory they will make and install one for FREE!
  7. fun fact: i know atleast with imgur if your picture posts very large (and annoying) you can go to edit post double click the picture and it will brung up the URL id list. if you put a lower case L before the .jpg it will shrink the picture to roughly half. ex: http://site.com/imagecode.jpgto http://site.com/imagecodel.jpg. you can also use the letters L, S, B, T, M, H to make them alternate. or use this site to recrop any picture.- http://www.picresize.com/
  8. curious on your trucks, ive never noticed this before but on front signals -marker lights OFF front and side lights blinker simultaneous. -marker lights ON front and side lights blinker alternate. ive read a bunch of different posts about rewiring to make sides a turn... mine seems to be already like that (factory). is this a renix mod rather than an HO mod? also ive never noticed a vehicle flash pattern change with/without marker input. do they all (MJ/XJ) do this? i know on my TJ the side ONLY works if markers are on and then its an alternating pattern.
  9. you could also use that to split the stock housing. from STT/STT/R to ST/T/R or ST/TT/R. the only thing i don't know is how the hazard light would operate. being the turn overpowers the stop. but then the stop overpowers the hazard, if I'm not mistaken.
  10. i found a 2 wire (MJ/XJW/TJ/JK) to 3 wire (XJ/ZJ/WJ) converter for ~$25 http://www.carid.com/tow-ready/2-to-3-tail-light-converter-mpn-118158.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwtr6sBRDv7uzB492H9XISJADj6aqbGIyik0p-XQipM2bj9jO5eznGl98gAeluJ4pbSnDNBhoCeADw_wcB
  11. good to know! ive herd alot of good things about them... also took advantage of there CC discount! saved like $50
  12. I have a parts longbed metric ton, but new England has left the springs in rough shape structurally so I just took the plunge! just bought a pair of hellcreek metric ton springs. excited to see the quality and fitment!
  13. ....wanna know the truth.... it took me 15 maneuvers to back it 90 degrees into its parking spot from this angle. it hits near instantly. even with the 3in coils. i have 5 in coils i might try when i do the rear springs over to metric tons. but ill probably be trading these for some 31s in the end
  14. All four 33s are on now !
  15. I know I'm doing the upol eventiually. I have a plastic liner now
  16. i have heculiner in the cab of my wrangler.... I HATE IT. i would definitely not use it again. its incredibly rough and holds a lot of dirt that won't come out. id look into upol raptor liner. my buddy used it on his bed and it came out great!
  17. little poser shot with some of the new badges i made up
  18. Horn in behind the bumper in front of the wheel well on either side behind a rubber flap. Temp sensor should be somewhere by the fuel rail
  19. Sweet trailer! Debating making one out of the parts long bed I have! Metric ton but the bed sides are nearly rusted off. So I'm not sure about effort
  20. Rust is cancer once you have it its there forever. Whether you see it or not.
  21. I'd certainly be interested
  22. Good pic hornbrod
  23. the picture of the hitch you posted doesnt have "Z" sides... if you look on the far side they are perfectly flat vertically. it is a reflection on the close side. id like to see what your personal "proper" hitch set up is... since you seem to know the "right" way. to design a hitch. last time i checked no factory/commercial hitch uses a "Z" or "C" channel sides. the only difference would be a side or bottom bolt face. now this attached picture dirrect from Curt which is a GLOBAL hitch company.. with many many years of design knowledge... even with ratings up to 18,000lb not one is gusseted or has "Z" or "C" channel.
  24. Hooray for reality
  25. Bravo krustyballer. I'm on the same confused page as you
