  1. exhaust is solid. i have the front leaf mount and frame shackle at 100ft/lb and rear eyelet at 80ft/lb and all u bolts beyond my torque wrench capabilities. (which i think are the factory specs) but i think i may have found it.... i think my shock is maxing out. between the ~2" lift the springs gave and the extra thickness of the spring pack ~1" i think I'm just over exteding the shock. although i havent verified this.
  2. how hot should drum brakes get? or whats normal temp? after a short drive (maybe 2 miles) my drivers rear is about 70 degrees and my passenger rear is about 170 degrees. (i used a temp gun to find these) is 70 too low (drivers side not working)? or is 170 just high (passenger side dragging)? i took the passenger drum off and inspected everything... everything looked decent and even wear. but i did notice the rear pad (left looking at the hub) wasnt moving much compared to the right pad when brakes were pressed but could possibly be just because physics said the front was easier to move first. havent looked at the drivers rear.
  3. Ive had the Rusty's HD bracket and adjustable bar on my TJ for close to 3 years now. Not a single issue...
  4. Installed a new set of leaf springs and shackles. Now the passenger side when I drive randomly (but normally on bumps) makes a HARD clunk noise. If I'm parked and jump up and down in the bed, Nothing. If I grab the bedside and shake it, nothing. Everything's snug.... is it possible things are too snug? Anyone run into this before?
  5. front leveling kit with 2wd rear springs and cutout flares fit 33s fine
  6. bench and floor shifter fit... just slightly less legroom for center passanger. I have a bench and floor shifter on my '91
  7. I welded my 91s manifold when I swapped my engine. and aftermarkets all crack too for the most part, same design just different name on it. id you really want to upgrade look for a 00-01 split manifold. that's what my tj has and have no problems whatsever. it uses a separate manifold for 1-3 and 4-6 and then just a y pipe
  8. I ahave the rustys HD bracket and trac bar on my TJ and MJ and like them both. no complaints
  9. just weld it, cheap and easy
  10. I have rustys lowers and rubicon express upper control arms. no complaints here, honestly its just whatever good deal you can find, not much difference in brand quality
  11. Not any strength improvement obviously as it completely relies on your bumper still. Just gives you the ability to use 2" hitch items.
  12. found this at harbor freight! looks like it would work pretty good as long as your bumpers in decent shape! http://www.harborfreight.com/5000-lb-capacity-step-bumper-receiver-67158.html
  13. just bought these off of ebay for $35 factory style lights for a 03-15 dodge ram
  14. $40 not bad... honestly might be pretty easy to even retro fit these onto a sunvisor and make your own light brackets. Are these universal for all lunds?
  15. they're maxxima 3/4" led lights. they come in many colors (amber, red, blue, green, white, ect) , and can be found on eBay for $5-10. I have two lund visors anyways and there just fiberglass. if I drilled holes in them and ended up not liking them I can just refiberglass the holes and paint without much hassle
  16. Not to keep blowing up this page with wrangler stuff. But here's an interior and a outdoor not snowing shot too
  17. Thank you. I'm the only person I know that's done it. I think it came out great. Everything is internal to the windshield frame on the TJ. Just a single grommeted wire at the base of the interior windshield that then goes under the dash
  18. here's what I'm working with angle wise. I'm thinking top more and more
  19. I gotta buy some lights first but I think I will as I need to do some fiberglass repair on the visor anyways. question is should I do top mount or the front lip mount? I'm leaning more toward front lip but don't know if it will be angled too much down
  20. I have a non lighted Lund. Thought about putting something in that. I'm a sucker for the 3/4 flush round lights like on the TJ above.
  21. Leaf install went well. Now I'm Getting an odd clunk noise from passenger side rear somewhere though... haven't pinpointed it yet. Only happens while driving. If I jump up and down in the bed there's nothing.
  22. does anyone have any pics of jeeps with cab clearance lights? i have them on my TJ but havent seen any MJs with them... curious on how it would look!
  23. I mean they look like they fit perfect to the body lines.... whether or not there actually rear flares or front flares reversed and then the body line cut off to make it look finished. Not sure. Again not looking to make am argument. Just saying what I'm seeing.
  24. but this white one clearly has them on...? I'm not doubting you, and who knows the possible modifications to make them fit... but hard to agree to no when I'm looking at yes, ya catch my drift?
