  1. Ya I was going to swap the whole assembly but wasn't sure if there were rod differences or something slightly unknown before tearing everything apart to fond out I can't do it.
  2. so i was looking into replacing the booster set up on my MJ. i know most say to go for a 95/96 XJ setup. but i have a parts 98ZJ already and all parts would thus be free for me... is there any difference between boosters?
  3. Test drove it. All seemed well. Except both calipers were frozen and billowing smoke after my 1/4mile drive. So went all out and replaced both rotors, calipers and pads. Much better now. But still stops like a wet fart, still have to do rear brakes and probably wouldn't hurt to update the booster.
  4. finishing up the axle swap, its a CV joint LP D30 axle from a ZJ. we will see how it performs... also have ZJ solid steering linkage, adjustable upper/lower arms and (IRO) Iron Rock Offroads benchmark series, double shear pin trac bar/HD bracket, bilstein 5100 shocks, and HD 3.5" ZJ coils
  5. Went with the square ones. There probably 3 weeks out due to ordering quantities tho :(
  6. so since its a no go on those dodge ones for me, as they won't fit the visor, thinking of alternatives. going back on my flush mount lights I used on the TJ or possibly these squared off ones to match the body lines a little better. opinions? or
  7. I'm sure that is a great pack but the HC MT pack is a stock height spring, correct? I believe the OP, and me vicariously through him, is looking for a 1-2" lift over stock at a lower price. I know the GS MT spring pack is a little higher than stock but this GW pack is about $150 less... if it works. they are stock height springs, that being said though.... going from stock 2wd springs and stock shocks to metric springs (~+2in), 1" shackle (+1) and bilstien 5100 shocks (~+1) I'm roughly 4" over what I was before. I measured my ride height (axle to frame) as about 11.5" currently. and I believe factory 2wd was around 7"

    Tire dilemma

I love tire rack. They have a warehouse next to Bradley airport too. You can pickup for free. Best prices anywhere
  9. Bravo. I appreciate that! The ambient temp sensor looks great! Definitely want to do that one. And I guess you sold me on the intake swap... as the information I took on the quick read i did was a positive gain
  10. Temp display and turn signals specifically. Thank you all and powerful wise one Also... do you notice a difference between old and new intakes? I have an extra new style that I've been throwing the idea back and forth
  11. Pictures or I don't believe!
  12. Why's it moot? If you don't have one. You get one and $100.... if you HAVE one you get a new one and $100.
  13. I have a bench seat. And hate foot brakes. I was thinking possibly going retro heavy truck style and doing a side of the seat mount hand e brake. Like between seat and door. Just a though. Who knows if logistics would allow it. But thought it might be cool

  15. I got the hell creek metric ton pack. And couldn't be happier. I've hauled a full load of cord wood and multiple 3/4 loads of gravel and its handled it like a dream boat. Worth the money for the simplicity for me.

    Tire dilemma

Look up Firestone winterforce. I have them on multiple vehicles. Its an awesome tire and CHEAP. We put a lot of miles on these winter and summer. They are a harder compound so they don't west bad in summer. But grip amazing in snow and water http://m.tirerack.com/tires/TireDetailsServlet?partnum=27SR5FWFUV&ef_id=VdudSQAAAfDN7aeF:20150906125237:s&KEYWORD=tires.jsp_Firestone_Winterforce_UV_Tire&ci_src=17588969&tireModel=Winterforce+UV&ci_sku=27SR5FWFUV&ci_sku=27SR5FWFUV&src=17540115&code=yes&tireMake=Firestone&GCID=C13674x012-tire&
  17. And hauling a load of wood and another with about 2/3cu.yd. of gravel.
  18. Here's the two princesses both finally on the road.
  19. Leafs were like $550 shipped. My old bushings were toast so I wouldn't have swapped them over. And I'm not really upset about having to upgrade to a bigger (stronger) bolt. Just meant an extra 5minute trip to the hardware store.
  20. They were suppose to be 1.3" wide. But are actually 3.1 inches wide. I'm guessing the eBay poster had dyslexia
  21. So got those cab lights in the mail today... they are alot bigger then the dimentions posted on the eBay listing. So a no go on those for the visor. And they would be too far back for cab mounting them because of the visor.
  22. Found the clunk was the shocks being too short. Swapped them out for a set of bilstien 5100s. And problem solved! Also got it registered and on the road finally!
  23. Yep. Confirmed shock issue. Swapped out for a set of bilstien 5100s I had laying around and they work mint now. And holy cow are they stiff! They also gave me at least another inch of lift!
  24. My e brake doesn't work. It ends at the center adjuster no interior cable. I honestly plan on just removing it completely. I just bought a rear brake shoe and hardware set from Napa. Roughly $30 can't beat it.
  25. I'm american its in Fahrenheit. And i think that cables actually broken on the passenger side. I adjusted the brake in because it was dragging a lot. I may of not done it enough? As you can turn the drum by fairly easily byhand. But its kinda stiff
