Thank you, that's a very informative thread! -
I'm going to put on a new style valve cover on my 89, and I have a couple questions. Is it a direct bolt in? Are the gaskets interchangeable? That's about it. Thank you!

Something I've never seen before

I figured it out, the power wire going to the ignition switch was only getting 2.5 volts at the fuse box, so I ran a jumper wire with an inline fuse, bam working like normal -

Oh, I forgot, 89, 4.0 5 speed, the clutch was leaking on the fuse box, but I took care of that already -
My truck is doing something wild, every so often, when I turn the key to the on position, it works like normal, when I start the engine, I could either put it in reverse or turn the heat on, and it turns the engine off. When it doesn't work normally there is nothing, no fuel pump, no radio, no dash lights, nothing. I checked the fuse box wiring harness, replaced some wires there, new ignition switch, starter relay and starter.

Sorry if this is a recurring topic. Also, do the control panels come with just the window switches or locks too?

Could anyone assemble a list of parts needed to add power windows to my truck? Also, if I add them will that solve the problem of them not going down all the way manually?

I sheared all of my passenger side bolts driving to work one day. Used a punch and a hammer to get them out. -
Do you still have the burgandy interior? I have a gray one if you want to trade, just bought my second MJ so I've got extra!

Wrong. Seven piece used until 1990; 91 and up had the three piece. My apologies.
