  1. Mine was popping like that when I first got it,ended up being a broken spring in the clutch master cylinder.

I run a Spartan and its invisible in 2wd,are you sure your T case is coming out of 4wd?
  3. My brother and I just built this one a while back.
  4. With my SOA the factory drive shaft ended up being perfect with the D44 swap. The lift made it a bit short and the D44 put it back to about stock.
  5. You will need to move the perches
  6. This is what my shop does so I would like to think my opinion is worth something.
  7. I would keep looking, you can do a lot better then that.
  8. Well it rained pretty much all day but it was a great show. It was awesome to see how many came out to support the trail system despite the terrible weather.
  9. How bad is it? You do know headliners are pretty easy and cost about $40 to do your self.
  10. There's no such thing as a 85 4.0l cherokee at least not factory. The 4.0l didn't come out till 87 I don't know all the issues but I'm sure the 207 would be 21 spline versus the AX15 being 23 spline.
  11. Are you sure it has big joints? Not all 95 YJs had them and being 4.10 geared I would think its even less likely to have them. You would have to swap the whole knuckle for the brakes, the newer ones the brackets are cast in rather then bolt on so they can't be swapped and the calipers won't fit your brackets. The steering can be swapped I have YJ steering on my MJ,all I did was lengthen the drag link. you can't just flip the steering for high steer. The trac bar mount is in the way,you would have to do a complete high steer conversion. I'm guessing since you want to use Yj parts you still have a CAD axle,I personally would hold out for some one piece shafts with big joints or just swap in a later XJ axle without the CAD.
  12. Why not just swap in the whole axle?
  13. I'm 6'0" the truck had some old GM car seats in it when I got it so I've never had factory seats. The leg room feel comperable to my XJ though, It does have a belt and my 9 year old fits in it. I have had small adults sit there in a pinch. The seats are a little wide but seem to fit ok,Also with the seats setting a little higher I get lots of comments on the visability especially when off road, people can't believe how much better you can see just from sitting a little higher.
  14. Maybe, its seperate from the seats. Only real issue is it kinda tall once you put it on the trans tunnel,I set my seats pretty low which is why they don't line up with the console but I think they still sit higher then factory seats. So it might not line up very well with XJ seats.
  15. Those came out of a 1997 Dakota
  16. No,both are stock length. It worked out pretty well in the rear, what I lost from the lift I got back with the D44 swap due to the longer housing. I did run it for a few years SOA with the D35 and stock shaft with no problems.
  17. thanks,it was a lot of work but came out good. I will have to take more pics of the bed ,I went through the trouble of blending all the body lines in the bed so inside the bed everything lines up.
  18. Thanks,33x12.50s for now
  19. I made some from 3/16" plate. It took some time but wasnt very hard.
  20. I made my own.
  21. Have you thought about gears? You can pour money on your engine but if your gearing sucks your truck isn't gonna be much better. From town to my house I climb about 1300ft in a very short distance, the hills here are know for killing transmissions but my MJ with 4.88s and a 4cyl walks right up with ease.
  22. My MJ with a 2.5l and AX4 can break 100mph,it easily cruises at 75 on the free way.
