  1. I removed my E brake stuff and installed my prop valve in the release cable handles spot. if i remember right i reused the old screws..... Ill poke my head under there this weekend for you and let you know
  2. JCR picked a comanche a few months ago.... Hopefully they open up a new world of armor and protection for our MJs
  3. One thing I've learned from my manche is that I've had to improvise at almost every fix, from the rusty floors to random bad wiring and anything in between!
  4. That's the hose set for an XJ. Pretty much the same, eh? Close enough for new hoses with bends with cutting like 2" off the one end. I didn't have the hose clamp tight enough oringally and my first fill up was messy... luckily it was in the drive way with a can.
  5. I used crown auto p/n: 52000623. The IDs were the same, bends are close and I trimmed it to size
  6. ruff stuff, barnes 4x4, 4wd.com, quadratec just to name a few places, a bunch of places will have new 10" long ubolts
  7. Tapatalk was the easiest for me because all my pics are on my phone
  8. Rough country is cheap and a step up from stock or WJ arms. They have them fixed or adjustable.
  9. I haven't replaced the inners yet, to much surface rust to get the welds to bite. Patched the outters with 18 ga. and primed it Not sure if I'm going to add flares yet, but I have a set of rear tj flares ready
  10. X2 for the leaf centering pins. Got my ubolts and antiwrap pearches from ruffstuff. Shock mounts from iron rock offroad. Brake line extensions from rockauto (H38620 & H38363). Control arms from rough country. Bilstein shocks and RE coils. Didnt have to mess with a drop pitman arm
  11. Yes its MT leafs Stock mjs are 3+1 MTs are 3+2 or 4+1
  12. I cut a corner out of an eye bolt and have no issues so far
  13. Cherokees and Wranglers with SYE typically shoot for 1-3 degrees under 0, maybe more to help with small amounts of spring wrap. Maybe someone can confirm this.
  14. C2C is what I used, they needed trimming and custom adjustments though..... each side is $45
  15. Could you get a generic size from the local parts store and run x amount needed?

    Playing in the sand today
  17. Small update - a couple weeks after moving out of the unit I took her out on a bunch of state land to camp. We didn't quite make it to camp before the the radiator bllleeewwww. The wonderful closed system wouldn't hack it anymore so I dropped some cash to get every thing ready for open system. New radiator, water pump, thermostat, generic over flow tank, and gaskets. Couple days after that we went to the local orv sand dunes to play for the weekend. The fun didn't last long due to some wiring issues. No taillights and headlights coming on when the brake is pressed. I recently got be wires ran and finally have working taillights. About the same time as installing a new harness for the rear, I bought and installed the autopal housings with the putco relay harness. Next on the to do list is cowel hood mod and finish my half door mod....
  18. I'm interested in the wing windows when you go to fixed.....
  19. I rarely use my harbor freight pump but it comes in handy for how cheap it is. http://www.harborfreight.com/all-purpose-drill-water-pump-34302.html
  20. mine does the same thing, but I blame the oil running down back to the pan while sitting.
  21. This is what I interpreted from the drawings. Am I correct?
  22. Sooo I've tracked the issue back to the tail lights. From the connector behind the bumper to the bulbs the PO had spliced in multiple areas and used duct tape to wrap them up. Some wires weren't even connected. I believe he tried to wire in a trailer harness at some point. I want to go through and run fresh wires. Can anyone dumb down a wire schematic for me? I looked in the hanes book and the cherokee set up looked more like what I seen on my truck vs. the schematic for an mj. I got a fogged brain trying to do wires.
  23. I started to fix my rockers till I ended up stuffing 2x6 sliders in the emptiness. I was using 18 gauge flat.
  24. 212 or 4410

    Leer cap parts?

Ive got a leer on mine, would the frame or hinges have part #s stamped in them? I could at least get a few measurements for you if you went homemade route.
