  1. Nice stance!
  2. Don't forget to use purified water!
  3. Are you running a 50/50 coolant/water mix? If so, drop it to a 30/70 mix and add a bottle of Redline Water Wetter. It's worked for my ZJ in the past when playing in sand dunes or hauling toys.
  4. These ones came off the Chargers, although I've seen them on the Magnums, and challengers around here. Dodge type 2325 and they readily accept the newer JK wheel centers. I'm thinking or painting the black ones a graphite grey color. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk That looks slick as hell. If I ever move away from 15's, that's the wheel I wanr!
  5. I think driving style has a lot to do with it. When I drive my brother's 95 XJ SE (2.5L, 4wd, 5 speed) I get pretty much the same mileage as I do on the MJ. His truck is running thinner wheels, smaller tires, and 4.10's, though.
  6. Those silver ones really pop! They're off of Dodge sedans?!?!
  7. That used to happen to my ZJ with 32's on Canyons. I fixed it by going to a slightly higher offset wheel.
  8. 87 2wd SporTruck with a 2.5, ax4, 3.55's, 31x10.50 bfg AT's, synthetic fluids, and a 2.5" exhaust. 22mpg on the highway average, but I do keepnit at or under the speed limit and I have a stripped interior. Oh! I also have a drop in K&N from a late 90's Ram 1500 in my stock airbox. This must be good for 150 extra H-Peeez.
  9. FWIW, I just came back from a week at an excavation. I drove close to 900 miles on this last outing with at least 25% of it over gravel, dirt paths, and sand washes. Not a problem.
  10. They may be available, but are they desirable? For my money, I'd rather shoehorn a GM LS based drivetrain into a MJ than the Pentastar.
  11. Maybe they got twisted up this time around? Dunno why you WEREN'T getting noise before, to be honest.
  12. Send the power down one sideof the cab and the signal down the other side. Those have to be seperate.
  13. Are your power cables and signal cables in close proximity to each other?
  14. Realistically, how much more power do you need? I've pulled a 3500lb trailer with my SWB 87 equipped with 3.55's, an AX4, a 2.5, and 31's. Getting it going has not been an issue for my truck. I do plan on going to 4.56's and an AX5 in the future on mine. Perhaps you can get away with a gear swap too.
  15. Cool deal. I'll be doing my conversion as soon as my steering box brace and spacer get here. I'll let y'all know how everything fits together.
  16. FWIW, Mickey Thompsons, Cepeks, and ProComps are all made by Cooper, so...quality tires all around!
  17. I haven't used the specific tires you mentioned, but I beat the snot out of a set of their old AT's on a Chevy 2500 work truck. They were smooth, had plenty of traction, and weren't any noisier than the Bridgestone AT's they replaced. Cooper makes a flat out great tire.
  18. Will you be doing a lot of highway driving? If not, the Saginaw trannys are cheap and have a ridiculous 1st gear ratio.
  19. Thanks for the tip!
  20. No prob. Hopefully it'll help some!
