  1. Cool!
  2. No you don't. Make your life easier and shop for a 86-90 full cluster.
  3. I'd buy it, I have a soft spot for Eagle wagons.
  4. You really need to stop buying MJ's. Out of 7 you've scrapped 3. Quit it.
  5. I've bought from T dot once, didn't have any problems.
  6. Shipping to Canada, don't use Jegs, use Summit.
  7. Not to get too off topic but it is nice that Dorman makes many parts that would otherwise not be available for trucks like ours, but yeah in general they're like Walmart quality. They're cheap and won't last as long as OEM parts. I forgot to add that after installing the Dorman harmonic balancer that I sold the truck within a year but it didn't give me any problems during installation or the time I had it after that.
  8. I put the Dorman part on my 88 4.0L and didn't have any issues.
  9. You're welcome!
  10. That's the way I was taught and always done it.
  11. Hey man you're not that far away... can you go buy this for me, get it running, then sell it to me? http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/regina/1986-jeep-diesel-pioneer/1165860560
  12. Yeah I can do PayPal, PM me.
  13. You shouldn't be driving it with the rot that bad.
  14. I went to the link but it says you don't ship to Canada. Can you make one without the three swoop lines under the word?
  15. Gosh people should know if you have to repair body panels due to rust, spray the inside / backside with fluid film or similar. It basically wouldn't rust again. Sheesh. Take cash you know you're going to buy it.
  16. Good donor, buy it.
  17. I used a can of Norton stuff (professional) but needed more so I bought Permatex http://amzn.to/1X2XNld It's not the adhesive that gives you a better finish, it's all in the fabric and how well you can install it. I did my first one not that long ago and I was pretty happy. See my build thread on my 92 for pics.
  18. You can do what you want, POR will work on all metal but it's really not designed for fresh new metal (and not required IMHO) but lots of guys use it. But lots of guys use bedliner incorrectly too (hint it's not a rust proofing product). From their own website: Surface preparation: Rusted surfaces are best; seasoned metal and sandblasted surfaces are also good. To coat smooth metal surfaces: Use POR-15 METAL-READY to prepare surface before painting. Surface must be dry and free of grease, oil, or other foreign substances. Use of 'rust converter' products is not recommended as they may affect bonding of POR-15 to metal. POR-15 likes to adhere to surfaces with 'tooth' rather than smooth, glossy surfaces.
  19. POR stands for "paint over rust". If you have new metal in there, use another product IMHO. Save POR for other applications where it's more appropriate.
  20. Do you have a spot to drill a hole and mount this? http://amzn.to/1nGTz59
  21. To be fair, rusty floorboards are fixable and at least where I live 99% of trucks have rusty boards.

    Rock Auto?

When I have to return something to Apple, the return label is with UPS. I have to drive 75 km to the nearest bigger city to drop it off. Funny we have Purolator, FedEx, and Canada Post in my city though. Sigh, Canada problems.
  23. What, you couldn't find a chrome version of this? LOL
