  1. Yeah undercoating is not rustproofing either.
  2. Bed liner is not the same as rustproofing. Just spray some motor oil or Fluid Film on the back instead.

    what the?!

It's obviously an S-10, does not even look close to a Ranger IMHO.

    what the?!

    Whoa!!
  5. Bleed the brakes the right way and then post back.
  6. Bed liner belongs in the bed only IMHO (unless you're doing some crazy off-roading).
  7. Wow, crazy. But then again it's Manitoba... :rotfl2:
  8. Bed liner is not the same thing as rust proofing. If you're worried about rust, use an oil-based rustproofing product. If you plan on throwing a bunch of rocks gravel lumber etc. on your floorboards then go ahead and use bedliner.
  9. I have 3 pair of rear XJ flaps new in the box (NOS). Bought them thinking that they could be modified to fit front or rear of an MJ. Never got around to doing anything with them though, they're just collecting dust
  10. I have a piece like that that I took off of my truck. It's chrome in the middle though, interested? I guess you could paint the chrome part (plastidip?). Funny enough it was only one of two trim pieces that were still on my truck when I bought it:
  11. Does anyone actually think that a new Jeep pickup or Grand Wagoneer would actually look good? I sure hope so but think about the Charger, it barely deserves the name. The Challenger was good though. I love the big Waggies and hope it looks retro with woodgrain. But I suspect not. The pickup? Well I wish it was like the Comanche and not the Scrambler.
  12. Wow, minty Comanche!
  13. The bar looks ridiculous but nice truck!
  14. Nice!
  15. I had to torque my bolts three times in a row to get them snugged down properly. Don't tighten them in order once and think you're done.
  16. OEM bushings only or they won't last a year. My car had a clunk over bumps, it was a broken stabilizer link in the rear. Oil burning is not a common issue in these cars. Does sound like valve seals.
  17. My 96 the same color has zero paint issues. Peeling trim, that can be fixed easily. Front suspension, they all need to be "rebuilt" at this age. I dropped $1,500 to get my suspension better than new and the only thing I didn't do myself was the alignment ;) You can fix it for less. Mostly you probably need new strut rod bushings. Ocassional odometer, somewhat of a known issue, moreso on the slightly older cars. Harsh transmission shifts, check fluid level & condition. Oil burning? Ugh, engine not cared for well enough :( If I was you I'd add a can of Restore in there to see if that helps: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HJVEX74/ - I've had good experience with that in the past.
  18. I just installed the VS50522T last week on my 91 (stock valve cover), it's 110% awesome http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C2APC4/
  19. Holy $#!&. It looks like someone jacked it but it was so rusty it just caved "up". Yikes, good luck.
  20. Man those are fugly. You couldn't pay me $150 to put them on my truck.
  21. Try bypassing the resistor anyway.
  22. I can see mine on the bottom of the seat, it's really tattered so I haven't tried pulling it out. I'll try though when I remove the seat.
  23. Did you try bypassing the resistor on the fender? Connect the two wires together.
