  1. Found my u-turn answer. Now the tire question.
  2. 35 12.50 15 tires. What would be a better size wheel, 8 in wide or 10 in? Anybody know the minimum backspace needed for a ORO u-turn steering? I know stock wheels don't work.
  3. yep I'm in
  4. One of my MJs has a NRA sticker in the same spot  bought it like that.
  5. i think i made it weblos or something like that. the program just stopped suddenly at the school i was going to for some reason. i still have my pinewood dirby car somewhere. That was 12 or 13 years ago! Wow time flies.
  6. Awesome
  7. Cool Thanks guys. Nice pictures BTW. Thats some beautiful country! Glad to hear someone compare them to MTZs. I was considering those for either my 01 CTD or one of the MJs. (l don't like one specific tire yet so i figure i would try as many as I can) Id like someone to compare them to KM2s which I currently run on my XJ.

    sighhh

scary that the guy passin you on the interstate could have booty fab like this under his rig... don't need to worry about this dude here in the u.s. tho. the reason i say this is just like what Cam said. NO ONE said anything to him about it. They are more curious on how much wheel spacers are and where they got them from. Your sitting on the computer, go look! yep not a fan of jeep forum.
  9. We have highs in the single digits and lows in the double digits below zero at night. 26 would be a heat wave!
  10.
  11. Goodyear MT/R Kevlar- Found a excellent deal on a set of 35s for the xj. Anybody run these and what is your take on them. Please compare them to other you have had so I can get a good idea. I never really done any reasearch on these things cuz I figured I would never buy them. Why? I don't know. I'm specificly looking for someone who has had them in the snow. Whether wet and sticky snow to dry sugary snow. I appreciate the input. I don't need braggin up sidewalls, I have seen a brand new one catch a rock on our new Grant in Aid ORV Trail up here in MN, and rip the sidewall right open.
  12. fancy
  13. Very nice MJ, and equally cool is your towrig/trailer setup!
  14. your talking about the overhead temp, direction traveling display right?
  15. I agree 110%. Hate I cannot even listen to the radio till new years starting the day after thanksgiving.
  16. I had to laugh at this :clapping: True. They rebuilt the first one and it didn't even last 10k. stock rebuilds are not a good idea. like polishing a turd. have to get the trans built right with improved parts. Have him check out Goerends Transmission out of Iowa.

  19. yes the rears only. hate the front tj flares on the unibody rigs :ack:
  20. nah 2000 was the first year for the LP30s. I have never seen or heard of a titled 99 with a LP30. I have a 2000 XJ with around 145k and never had a problem with the engine. Would not scare me a bit to buy another 00 or 01.
  21. thanks guys. to clarify i was actually looking for someone that has actually put them on a rig and what they thought of it. The stock tires are 32 in or so. I was thinking about getting them for my 88 2wd mj, but i don't know about a 4 in lift to fit the dang things. Specially on a 2wd. I think they look great on a stockish XJ anyway. Eh?
  22. Considering buying a set off a guy with the appropiate spacers. Anyone ever seen this setup on an MJ? Or XJ?

1989 Comanche Originally came with, 2.5/AX-5/2wd/LWB 120kish Awaiting 4.0 H.O. swap with AW4 and 242. I've had this Jeep for a few years and have not done much with it. Its in nice shape, box was junk when i got it but I was lucky enough to come across a nice longbed from the south locally. The truck has about 5 different colors of paint on it including black, white, red, green, silver. This thing has been around. It was sold new in Florida and spent time in California, Wisconsin and now Minnesota. These are the locations that I know of. Jeep is located in Northeastern, MN. Owned by me. After the 1992 XJ drivetrain, its getting a 6.5 LA suspension, flat black or O.D. green paint, nice wheels, and skinny swampers. Going to use to drive to work once in while and weekend cruises. Not going to be wheeled hard. Light wheeling only. Finally got a pic of it from Jan 2007 right after I got it..
