right around 3.40 as of yesterday. about 3.80 for diesel fuel and thats what I'm running right now
  7. 35s are not that bad. Seems that a couple folks have had issues and it spread like wildfire on the internet. And if it was seen on the internet, must be true eh? I know a bunch of guys that run them without problems. Yes locked on 35s but with the addition of a Super 35. One guy has a 4 cylinder, 4:1 Low Range, Dana 44 front, Dana 35 rear, 35s, and drives like a nutcase! Had to swap in a 44 because he could not keep the 30 alive with the 4:1. Okay I'm done, carry on... forgot to add the tires are super swamper ltbs, and the axle has been turning 35s since 2003!
  8. agreed
  9. awesome
  10. My biggest pet peeve is when I go into the store to order parts for my xj(s). I tell them I need balljoints or whatever and tell them it's for a Cherokee. First question back "is it a grand?" Did I SAY grand Cherokee, no. Drives me nuts. Or the guy that trys to tell me everytime I go there that I need to swap a 318 in my Cherokee or Comanche whatever vehicle I happened to be getting parts for that trip... Lol
  11. Check this out. They make it nice and EZ. http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merchant ... y_Code=XDT
  12. Yes your truck is very light on the rear end. Putting sand bags or anything that has weight for that matter will make a difference. I drive in the snow 5 months out of the year and I usually do not worry about it because I know i have 4 wheel drive. I usually just use 4 wheel around town when its snowy so I don't spin like crazy trying to leave stop signs or whatnot. But yes, weight in the box will help, not completely needed in 4 wheel drive vehicle but nice to have if you alot of highway driving in 2wd.

    XJ out MJ in

 This is number 4. I have 2 RUST FREE Mjs also. Bought this one to drive back and forth to work for the rest of the winter, after that the possiblities are endless  Got a 87, 88, 89, and 91. Goal is to get a 86 4 cylinder, a 90, and a 92.. Hopefully I can find another one this year....I don't care as long as its in driveable condition! Yes I'm also a fan of the wheels even tho they are not MJ specific. Got the stockers with POS tires too!

    XJ out MJ in

Sold my 2000 XJ yesterday. Picked up a replacement for a mire $640 dollars. Rusty as hell. Stove pipe material floors... 91 2wd LWB, 4.0 H.O., column shift AW4. 177k. Minnesota rig its whole life. Got all service records from the day it was driven off the dealer lot. Pretty neat to too look through. Has decent rear bumper, RECIEVER HITCH , cruise control works, window washer works, interior lights are there but don't work. Needs brakes BAD, and its leaking fuel from the top of the tank somewhere...Plans are to fix it to make it safe to drive, and drive it!

    what price

Adding modifications can actually lower the value of a vehicle. Vehicle is worth what nada or kbb says. Best thing to do is window shop and see what other comparable rigs are going for. You are not going to add FULL value of the price of the aftermarket parts on a vehicle.
  24. TJ rubicon wheels are very hard to come by. Getting worse every day.. You can run the 17 in JK wheels with a spacer that adapts to the 5 on 5.5 pattern. Check these out: http://www.mambawheels.com/Mamba_Wheels.htm This is what my 88 2wd is getting this spring. For some reason I cannot copy paste an outside link. Google search mambawheels.
