  2. you know these guys?
  3. 1990 Jayco Pickup Camper for fullsize truck with 8 foot box. Camper is the crank up type and is great condition. Before I got the camper it had been stored in a pole building its whole life. I've owned this unit for a year. Only reason for selling is that I bought a short box pickup and it will not work for me anymore.. Camper is designed for use with a half ton truck. Weighs about 1200 pounds. I have never used the stove, heater, or water system in the unit but it does all work. (bought it from family) No bathroom, used portapotti that stows perfect in one of the compartments. Call for more details. 218 three nine three 6986. Camper could be accessable anytime. Have new turnbuckles also for tieing down and the system will work for any truck. This is the only picture I have of the camper. If I get a serious person interested, I will get shots of the inside. Camper is located in Canyon, MN about 30 miles north of Duluth. $2500
  4. i would look for ya but I'm strapped for time right now... I know you can get a manual, book on these machines online and in bookstores that should have all the information that you need!
  5. I have a hitch on my 91 currently and I do plan to remove it and fab an exact copy for my 88. With that being said has anyone looked into the legality of building your own hitch? Its illegal in MN to even weld on a hitch..if I'm not mistaken because I got called out on it once when I built my own custom drop hitch for my xj.
  6. All of our small fleet vehicles at the steel mine I work at have Duratracs on them. These trucks never see pavement and are around sharp blast rock and are spinning and pounded through potholes all the time. I never knew how much performance you can get outa a 2wd f-250 with a v8 when its not yours :rotf: The tires hold up very well and do not fail till they have no tread left. They run a 235/85/16 size in load range E. I plan to get them for my 88 2wd MJ and mount them to Mamba 16in wheels.
  7. yes there is a hole in the floor.
  8. So the ebay sender will work but the gas gauge will be screwed up?
  9. :dunno: huh?
  10. If I remember correctly i ordered one off ebay and it had the gasket built right in. I reused the hardware.. It was a plastic one but it wasnt 21 years old like the cover on the truck.

4.0/AW4/2wd/LWB/Colorado Red 1991 Comanche Pioneer, base gauges, column shift, 177k as of today. Location, Northeastern MN Build Date, 10/90 Bought vehicle in Feb 2011 from the 3rd owner (3rd owner never even transfered the title or used the truck). Replaced all brake lines and installed a new fuel tank and currently using it as a DD for work. Jeep is bone stock save for the Dodge Dakota wheels. (as I was told) Its rusty but I hope I will be able to save it. This one is 3rd in line tho. Runs excellent, cruise control works, window washer works, bench seat is wore out. I have all service records from when it was new and purchased in the Twin Cities at a dealership. Records run from new to 2005.
  12. Our bridge on our new GIA ORV trail this winter..taken with my phone Pulling the dock out at the folks cabin last fall. usually a hour job, this took 2 mins.. Find the jeep! Pic taken last fall on the GIA Trail at our "Trailside Rest Area." The white 88 MJ on a mine overlook near my house Spring 2010 wheeling the 'Outlaw Trail' My old Xj pulled into a dock on a extremely low Wyoming Lake Stuck wheeling in the Poison Spyder ORV area out of Casper, Wyoming
  13. Thank you I would appreciate it!
  14. This is what I was thinking...But the local shop that fixed my brakes for me said they could get one. 460 bucks installed or something like that..Mirror image of each other..sorry I'm not understanding this part or the pic above.. This is what I was looking at but I see they list Cherokee as a vehicle that its compatable for. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-92-Je ... ccessories
  15. Donor engine for my yellow XJ. Very nice. Liberty engine in a Freedom! I know the owner of a shop that specializes in Hemi swaps. (Burnsville Offroad) He put one of those engines in a JK. Pure badass with a 6 speed manual!
  16. What's your plan with the liberty?
  17. Sending unit has a pin hole so it's leaking my very expensive petrol on the ground. Not too bad..yet...
  18. Think he means custom built tails using some bent up steel and individual led lights or something like that.
  19. Someone school me on the availability of these? I need one for my 91. Cool to see a picture of one for an xj and a mj because I found some online but I don't know if it's the correct one..
  20. Have you ever put chock on them to see the road contact patch? I would just worry about burning the center of the tread down.
  21. You get the gas already mixed in a bottle. Anything pertaining to welding equipment is "you get what you pay for." I have used those Harbor Freight Machines and they actually do work ok. Yes probably good enough for some body work. But it COULD only last you one project...I vote Hobart or Miller 110 volt machine..I have a Lincoln, they are expensive and not worth the premium price IMO (bought it used from my uncle)
  22. The jeep in question has 216k. It does seem to sit pretty low already... Ill just have to order them up and see if they fit. Spending 1200 on wheels and tires, I would make them fit  But like ya said Pete, some coil spacers would work.. Maybe ill expirement a little bit.. Let the snow melt!!
  23. The tires on my Jeep are load range E, I keep em aired up at about 60 PSI. Unless you're carrying around blocks of lead you are going to wear out the center of your tires quick I feel...right? I would think you would have run low air pressure being that the sidewalls are stiff? That was kinda a joke when I said 10 psi but it would have to be tested with some marking compound to check how the tread hits the road. Sam I'm not doubting you, just I know in my diesel pickup the tires are in the 70s psi, buddy of mine ran "e" rated tires on his 1/2 ton and he had them aired to 50, well thats what the tire shop recommend for him anyway..
  24. think you should re-read the fist post and not try advertising. specifys no lift or trimming  i think he is simply showing what you need minimum to clear 33s :dunno: same as what Darren did....
