  5. Welcome back Darren! Parade? Rob L.
  6. :agree: 5 leaves VS 4 standard, D44, also, the vin will give up the Metric ton package in the "model" numbers of the vin. I have rarely seen the Metric ton badges... I wouldn't rely on those. The last couple years of the MJ were weird too, because short beds could be found with the D44 also... As a rule though, with jeep, there are no rules. :D Rob L.
  7. I'm the guy putting the snow at the end of your driveway. :D Rob L.

  9. That when you grab a beer, shed a tear, and reminisce about what it looked like when it left the assembly line. Just stand and stare, or sit in the cab, wonder what was, and tell it "Everything is going to be ok." Rob L.
  10. Eh crap. Congrats Shelby... '89Eliminator and I have been talking to the guy about getting it for Wade's '92 Green Eliminator resto... Guess we weren't fast enough. Rob L.
  11. Its pretty easy once you play with if for awhile... Just remember, to turn, bank that direction, and pull back on the controls. Rob L. ;) try flying with arrow keys... Thats what I am using... Rob L.
  12. I just run Mopar filters... Easy to get (Walmart stocks them now), and OE spec. Rob L.
  13. Sorry to say, but most of the electrical parts on that thing do you no good. Even the cluster. Your MJ is a renix with a manual cable... In '91, it went electronic, so it wouldn't work without some expensive adapters. You are much better off just finding a renix cluster. Doors, if you need them would work, rear axle is better than yours in the strength dept, seats if its a 2 door, or 4 door without the tilt, cooling system you need the thermostat housing, radiator, cooling hoses, reservoir, and I think a couple other little things... Interior stuff if you need it... Rob L.

  15. Check out the s10's... I would think that the would be eaiser to turn the offroad s10 into a comanche... That, and it isn't as tippy as the XJ... Rob L.

  21. Pete has a full time job and its this place... I wouldn't expect him to have much time for anything else... Us bunch of yahoo's keep him busy enough for sure... And we have a ROTFL smiley... > :rotf: Or even, :rotfl2: Rob L.
  22. And the employed... :peek: Rob L. ;)
  23. You can pull the cover, and it IS stamped on the gears, but in numerical form. IT has the count of teeth on each gear, right next to each other, set off from the part numbers. So, my recent setup I looked at was: 41 11 So take the ring gear count(41), divide that by the pinion (11), and you get the ratio... 41/11=3.7272727272727 Round that, to get 3.73's. Rob L. :D
