  2. Some more pics from my house and the tow there: Peugot oil is supposed to look like a vanilla shake... Rob L.
  3. Extremely busy over here. It was my baby, so I'll take care of it when I get the chance. Rob L. :(
  4. Put it in park and hit enter. Rob L.
  5. I have found that some of the things you can load will wipe out the stock vehicles that come with the game, so I load them one at a time, and fire up the game to make sure it won't. Do you know that the trailers don't show up in the truck shop? There is a pad with a little stand that almost looks like a huge scale. Walk up to the stand, and choose the trailer. Rob L.
  6. I change and balance all my tires myself. I leave my tools at work though: Rob L. :D
  7. I found the same thing with my XP machine. Not sure I want to try it with my Windows 7 laptop with 512mb of ram.... Rob, have you downloaded any new 'terrains' for your wheeling trips? I have only got the XJ to play with thus far. There are tutorials that explain how to make trucks. Is there any way to quit a track and start another without restarting the game? I have a better terrain, and thats the rock crawling heaven... Its like a moab, with sections of rock climbs... Don't know how to switch levels without restart. Rob L.
  8. Latest wheeling trip... All loaded up: Going up the rock: Otherside of the rock there was a bridge, but the approach angle was bad, I goosed it, and lost it: Then on the way back, decided to run the tow rig and XJ off a huge bridge trailer and all, XJ took the brunt: (Ouch) Man this game is addicting. Rob L.
  9. For starters, use the manual trans with the auto clutch until you get the feel. Some vehicles are more in depth... They will all kill in gear if the clutch isn't in, but as an example, I slammed pretty hard with the Fullsize Blazer truggy, and broke both driveshafts... I wasn't rocking it out anymore, and with a quick look, I realized why. And the Cherokee, (the good one), even had the characteristic high-pitched jeep crank, that takes about 10 seconds to finally get it to fire up. Must be a Renix. :rotf: Rob L.
  10. On a recent trip hauling the Blazer truggy to the rocks: My 'yota got loose on the rocks, and did a backroll, ended up with 2 blown out front tires, a smashed grille, and I couldn't get it started... Had to go and get the tow rig and winch it off the rocks. Rob L. :D
  11. Recently, I stumbled across a website by absolute accident, and have to share it with everyone... Wade (89Eliminator) and I have been playing, and working out all the kinks of operating it now for a few days, and find it to be really realistic. Its a free game that plays on physics, and real life attributes. You can make your own vehicle (advanced) or you can use someone elses. Cranes, wreckers, tow-rigs, sportscars, everything... You can download new rigs and such, some better than others. You can tell the first tries by the quality, but some people turn out some SICK RIGS! Some have lockers, winches, can get high centered on an axle... AWESOME. Here are some vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qnXSGZNdTc SITE: http://www.rigsofrods.com Check it out! Rob L.
  12. Overhaulin'... If only it were Chip Foose at the helm of the wrecker. Rob L. :brows:
  13. I am still out... Not only do I have the party to go to, but I found out that I now have overtime Saturday, and I am not going to turn down $29 and change an hour for a solid 8. ;) Still wish I could have gone though... :( Rob L.
  14. Jake, if Correy has an axle available, that would be the way to go. Most likely, he'll be cheaper, and 3.55's are one of THE MOST common gear sets out there. I ran 3.55's and 31's in my auto and it did good. This is just to get you by, and puts you one step closer to that 4x4 swap, while getting you back on the road. Once we find you a t-case and trans, the rear axle will be easy to find, as 90% of Cherokee's in the yard had 3.55 geared 8.25's... Worse case scenario, when the time comes, we'll have to get some gears... But I think you'll be fine for the time being. ROb L.
  15. He has a 3.07, but I am sure it would be fine, since the 3.55's are the most common axle to find at a yard to match. He has a 4.0L with a Peugot, so most likely he's running 3.07's. Rob L.

Was that green one on ebay awhile back? Rob L.
  17. Yep, I did... If you have time you can come out here and take a look... But the fork on the loader def gave it a massage... You might be able to use parts off of it though... Rob L.
  18. Agreed. I would rather think it be something huge, and find a little thing, than the other way around. Rob L.

  21. I think Wade found one, but I don't know how rusty it is. Rob L.
  22. Be in and out of chat all day... I have the day off. Just painting the 20 foot tall great toom. Rob L.
  23. These are older model Gerbing's Jacket Liners and may or may not include all the features currently being promoted or advertised by Gerbing's Heated Clothing. So, basically, you could just get a shirt, without heated anything. Rob L. :D
  24. Thats awesome! Rob L.
