  1. no the engine bay harness. its all torn up around the connector on the firewall so i need to replace it. but i know now how to remove but i can't because the bolt is stripped.
  2. okay so i ofund it and the stupid bolt is completly rounded off :fs1: :headpop: any suggestions on what to do to get it out now?
  3. did a bunch of searching and it seems that there is a 1/4 bolt in the connecter i have to remove. ill look for that and report back
  4. how do i remove the engine bay harness from my 88 2.5L mj?
  5. get a small mig it will plug into a standard 110 plug
  6. must not have killed all the rust before painting. it doesnt look like you need a new pan just patch that one hole

  11. this is an update to the thread "my jeep project" as that thread got confusing and off topic. so ill continue my progress here. so today i got the steering box in. pics:
  12. you an be getting fuel but not enough, too much , or not enough pressure all those would make your engine run wierd.
  13. check your track bar mount on the exel to make sure the hole isnt ovaled out
  14. i got the steerin bix installed in mine so far today. next on the list is removing the wiering harness and painting the engine bay

    And Freak... I really wish you would restart your build thread..... just thought I would throw that out there. i think i might the current one iis just abit confusing lol

    did you say that the JK wrangler is a unibody? i thought it was a body on frame??

  19. i live on the coast in canada rust quickly and brutally destroyse everything made of steel
  20. i got that spacer off finally. it took me heating it up with a propane torch and beating a cold chisel under the botton edges of the bolt holes for it to come off. its not threade it had just corrided itself on to the bolts
  21. weve alll got a thing about rust lol. don't forget between the cab and box,and front leaf spring mounts. if its a ba/10 5 make sure its in good shape
