worked unsucessfully for an hour trying to get the aluminum spacer off my old steering box because i broke the one off my new one. i tried everything short of cutting the steering box itself and i still can't get the busted bolts out(there holding the spacer in place) :fs1:

as stated your gunna need to do a lot of fabricating, youll have to reinforce the unibody(especially around the motor mounts), and all the wiering and computer stuff will have to come from the donor, same with cooling stuff. also thats alot of rngine to put under the hood of an mj and you may never get it to cool good. on the other side of the coin. it will be bad @$$ and i really wanna see someone do it

I'm thinking the easiest swap would be 87-90 as those are the renix years. i can't think off the top of my head what you will need from the donor vehicle except the wiering harness(i think)

yea i know where he is its just i don't have much money so ive got plans for something cool for the stock bed but if that don't work il go to him and buy a bed. he is on thsi site his name is tazjeeper. i bought a dana 30 front axel off him one time

i think i know what ya mean and i plan to do exactly as you say. also my previous employer sent me my last pay and my employment records in the mail today. under reason for leaving it just says dismissed lol. i still havnt seen a reason for my being "dismissed"

welcome to the club.for the record the 4.3 isnt that great of an engine imo it has lots of power but it doesnt make any of it untill about 3-4 thousand rpm in my experience. the 4.3s ae reallty hard to work on to. i think it would be much easier to swap a 4.0 in.

i think it looked better with the steelies. but i think turbines or the "jeep: alloys would look good on it myself

i saw a blue mj in the dipper harbour valley yesterday. blue longbed had later modlle jeep wheels on it. looked very similar to tazjeepers blue longbed. were you down my way taz?
