i always found that my jeeps rotted like that too. i think its because the left side of the truck gets more salt

thanks ill try my metric sockets after work tomorrow but I'm still pretty sure its stripped. i don't use 12 point sockets on anything i strip enough bolts as it is lol

front axel swap isnt very hard . unbolt the control arms ,track bar, shocks , and disconect the drive shaft(if its 4wd) then reverse the process with the new axel. it helps to have somebody to help you get it into place tho. I'm not very mechanically inclined and i can do it in a few hours with some help.

i agreee thats a nice bike. I'm torn on weather to get a cruiser or a crotch rocket style bike as my first bike. i like both it so hard to decide but I'm leaning toward something like a katana 600 or a sv 650

yea i thought of that today. i only tried 2 sockets for some reason but it does seem to be stripped. I'm going to play with it more tomorrow and see if i can get it. reson i think its 1/4 is becasue in my reading here someone said it was 1/4

yea i think thats what i may have to do . its just kinda hard to get anything in there to work with
