I was going to heat the crap out of the bottom bolt , but figured I'd ruin the mounting surface for the pump or even crack the block . Is that a possibility?

89 xj 4.0 My friend was changing his water pump on his 4.0 . In the process of taking the water pump mounting bolts out he broke 2 of them off with 3/8 to 1/2 inch of the bolt still sticking out of the block . I went over to his house after work and was able to get one of the bolts out with a pair of vise grips and a bernzomatic but the bottom one will not budge at all . I drained the antifreeze that was at the bottom of the block so I could get the bottom bolt heated without the antifreeze fighting the heat . What have you guys done to get them out ? I'd rather not drill and tap a hole if I don't have to . Thanks in advance .

What color ?tis is the one that tilts the seat forward ? There is a tan one on eBay brand new , it's pricey though . Or a jy is a option too .

Id look for a known good used axle and put that in ,especially if you do it yourself . You could easily do it for half that and if you have a Dana 35 in the rear you could upgrade to a better axle .

I believe it's because where the crossmember is located on the frame .

Dorman 46005 and 46003 . Those are the part numbers you need .

What engine ? The 4.0 will be 46003 dorman and 46005 for the rear .

A guy is selling a drivers side NOS tail light initially for $299.xx + 18 shipping . Of course he can ask what he wants for it , and the new tail lights bring good money . What I don't understand is when i seen the listing today he raised the price to $325 + 18 shipping . If you want to ask a high price and go down that's fine , how do you justify going up?

The large plate is towards the rear . Just curious as to what you mean by "flash" . I'm glad to see that everyone is happy with them as of yet .

Some of my 4wd friends that I've known for 15 plus years used to be owners of the North Jackson Ohio Rock crusher location before it turned into Solid . I put some local feelers out with no results as of yet . I even called to see if they had any old stock that they weren't allowed to sell , nope . They are now in north Lima Ohio and only 15 minutes away . Let me know if I can help in any other way .
