  1. Built mine with the Titan 4.7 stroker kit had the block machined for 500 along withthe head and all new cam bearings springs etc I was at 1800 doing it myself and it is not hard at all
  2. Is bet yellaheep would want the dually flares I'm gonna pm him
  3. Davies has a 2wd aw4 trans with a100k for 50 bucks just an option instead of replacing the bellhousing or maybe it would be a good donor trans
  4. I'd bet you Kilmer has one . Ask him
  5. Did you ever think of trying to find a factory cd player ? I got one in mine and it sounds great and picks up more stations than my cassete radio ever did lol
  6. The Amc logo is 86 only 87 up will work but won't have the Amc logo . I have a harness that will plug in to your 87 up harness that you can splice into with no damage to the vehicle harness and if you have the other half of the 86 harness it won't ruin the86 radio harness either
  7. ?? The one you really want to use doesn't have a cassette I'm confused
  8. Do u care if it has a cassette ? I have a non cassette I'd trade for the one in the first pic . You can come over and hear it in the new mj I bought
  9. Could be the trans pump or torque converter . I would also check to see that the flexplate to converter bolts are tight and not missing . Maybe check the bell housing bolts as well
  10. It's an h3 12v 55 watt bulb remove the reflective lens and mounted on the backside is a wire clip that needs to be squeezed together to remove the base of the bulb. Reverse for installation don't touch the glass bulb with your hands it will prematurely wear the bulb out . While your at it sand an paint the reflective piece withe a light silver high temp paint
  11. What you have are r.ol. Lights I can take my nos one apart to find out about what bulb is in it give me gotten minutes I'll be back
  12. I'd rather spend 15- 20k on my Comanche !!!!!!!!!
  13. I put a97 grand Cherokee 4.0 auto in my 88 mj auto . Nothing was different you should just have to get one for your 88 put it in the 97 crank and be good to go . If nothing else it's a good starting point
  14. What year Josh ? I should have one send me some pics pm me for email adress or post them on here
  15. What year ? 4 or 2wd ? I'm thinking they might be the same between 2 and 4wd if so I might have a set I have to check
  16. Don't care for it , I agree it looks like the cube . Now if they made the brute I'd buy it
  17. Yellaheep, is it a possibility he has short bed springs on a long bed frame? I don't have the two to compare but maybe that's why the shackles look wrong
  18. They only pull out in front of me if I care about my vehicle( like my Comanche ). If its a junk car they don't pull out in front of me . Time to invest in some air horns !!!!!!!
  19. Havent people put a 4.2 head on a 4.0 block ? If that's the case you keep you're driveline you would just need the head manifold etc from the 4.2 .
  20. Have you checked a parts store my 4.0 one was 15 bucks brand new
  21. Hornbrod , will that stand up to gas ? Would the gas tank repair by permatex work better?
  22. You can have the rusted one you have rebuilt but it's gonna be upward of 200 bucks
  23. There are no torque specs to my knowledge tighten the top nut till it stops
  24. Yeah I think he means the fuel sending unit . They are Comanche only . You can fit a Cherokee one in there but the gauge will be off that's if it doesn't hit the baffles in the tank . The Cherokee and Comanche sending units are mirror images of eachother . Don't be fooled when youre searching for one and it says fits Cherokee and Comanche . I believe the spectra cherokee sending unit number is sp7072 h
