  3. What year? The earlier trucks up through around 89 had a solid rotor with conical bearings inside and for sure will be different . The later trucks had a unit bearing and depending what year Dana 30 ( you didn't specify ) may be the same.
  4. I have a case of the renix mopar filters and have used several of them already with no problems . It all depends as to what environment they are stored in . If they are not rusted or damaged/ dented go for it .
  5. The mopar part number for the renix is 5012968AA
  6. I'm pretty sure that my local jy has an 89 2 door xj with the bolster tan seats . If you can't find the black ones let me know Cody . They might be ready to scrap it and I can call and make sure they still have them .
  7. All breeds jeep show in York pa is in July . How about making it a 2 for 1 weekend? That way if even the non wheelers can go .
  8. I've used lizard skin spray on sound deadener on my floor with carpet on top . It helps with reducing road noise and is also a water barrier . I went as far as to not use any mass backing on the carpet because it retains water and has the potential to rust out the floors . Lizard skin also makes a ceramic coating that reduces interior temps up to 30 degrees .
  9. I can't remember the name of the product but it was a white liquid that sloshes around inside the tank . I'm pretty sure it's in stock at my local auto paint store I can get you the name if you'd like.
  10. All original ? Wasn't aware that Comanches came with a tan and black two-tone interior lol. Maybe he meant $1200 or $1800
  11. I've had two mj driveshafts shortened that have the rubber inside. The rubber was removed , the shaft shortened and all is well .
  12. Do you have a part number for the oil pressure gauge you bought ? Just making sure they didn't sell you the wrong one .
  13. Check your grounds . I think one of the grounds at the oil dipstick tube is the typical problem for that. Read cruisers ground refreshening .
  14. You need to buy an oil pressure switch for gauges and also a water temp sensor for the gauge for your year mj . Depending on what cluster(s)you have you might be able to swap speedos or you'll have to get another cable .
  15. I can't comment on the ball joints being the same but the"T" means an improved design .
  16. Do you remember when and where you bought the gaskets from .If so Have the parts store check the sales history of each part number and see which one you bought . Is the firebird 2.8 the cross fire injection 2.8?
  17. I will get you his number John . I don't think he'll ship it but I can pick it up and get it shipped to you . Unless you want me to talk to him . I've been dealing with some health issues today . Whoever moved the post , thanks . I wasn't really sure where it belonged .

  21. Go to the local parts store and look through the dorman/ motormite book . Look up the lug thread size and in the back of the book all of that size is listed . Find ones that are a bit taller and youre good.
  22. I did mine 8+ years ago and can't recall . Maybe a wiring guru can get a diagram . I can check my Haynes manual but it's not as good as a FSM, PDF or diagram . Let me know and I can get the book when I get home .
  23. I had an ignition switch give me the same problem on my 95 xj drivline that is now in my mj . It's worth the 5minutes to take the column trim off and check to see if the switch / wiring is burnt .Maybe some critter chewed some wiring?
