  2. haaa!??? what the? 55k?!?! for a jeep? its a JEEP idc how many miles its got.
  3. as far as SYE's go, you can always get a front driveshaft re-tubed for cheaper than say a tom woods DS would be :dunno:
  4. check out my thread in the wheeling section, tellico pics of the hardcore trails and some of the lesser trails, wheeled my stocker MJ with no damage  nice stuff there
  5. if you're looking for quality RE is one of the best built names in jeep suspension. their LA kit will definitely work, claytons is making a good name for themselves too however either kit is a good direction. as far as motor swaps the 2.5 is basically the 4.0 minus two cylinders, if yuo get a complete parts cherokee you can swap over the entire wiring harness and everything as one
  6. Well I realize there isn't alot of MJ specific stuff out there, but where do you guys like to get your parts? depends on what stuff i'm lookin for, tend to go napa on replacement parts, random stuff i get at JYs like springs and doors and stuff like that, axles all that juice. other than that www.quadratec.com has alot of nice interior things like carpet replacements and cupholders for the XJ consoles (can be swapped in if you have buckets, or you can swpa in buckets )
  7. we've had a radiator randomly blow up just like that before, wheelin' crawlin at like 180* and the rad. let go just split down the side for no reason. they're testy creatures radiators are.
  8. http://www.zazzle.com/kaleco/product/235442988664810234 :D
  9. the chunk might hang to low... see dirty's thread he shaves his 60, alot of those big axles hang low but can be shaved up so that its not so bad, but you'd better be runnin big ole tires.
  10. :???: Tax? You're in New York. Clayton is in Connecticut. RE is ... somewhere other than New York. WHAT tax is "included"? There's no tax unless the vendor has a physical presence (meaning a store, office or warehouse) in your state. he bought it through a buddy who does sales n such, you have to pay the tax through them, it was the same when i priced some RE stuff through my local shop/buddy
  11. check all the front end bolts and take a gander at your LCA bushings... i popped in new LCAs on my truck (stock height) and it solved my troubles
  12. its 80 and sunny here in GA... woot woot lets dry up the rest of the water ! :headpop: yall promise to ship me gallons of water when we run dry!
  13. thats not a true 4link its a radius arm style setup (kinda like some FS fords) i think full traction's kit is a true 4link like the stock setup is
  14. i want a beemeerrrr no fair! :hateputers:
  15. if you get a long aal its not bad, the ride will stiffen up a bit cause that one leaf is making the pack 3" taller so its taking most of the load, but a short AAL will be bad for the springs homemade LAs is ok just check out all the ones online and try to copy someones setup pretty closely
  16. hey, as to 4dr XJ seats, i have them and love them, theyre the BIG side bolstered super comfy rocker seats, and i have no troubles getting my acoustic behind the seats, just have to slide one forwards a little, so it's not THAT bad getting behind them without them flipping. but it would be nice. however now i have a sub taking up most of the passenger room so it doesnt matter at all anymore :brows:
  17. haha, you're not a newbie are you? Just Empty Every Pocket ;) you knew that right?!
  18. lol they look at me funny when i ask for 89 manche parts and 97 tj engine parts.. what model? uh, idk PICK ONE! sahara sounds good go with that ;)
  19. sounds like a ghetto way to do it and would require finding (or pulling) the sets of 3 other trucks stock isolators.. but it'd work, i have 2 stock isolators and a 1.75" spacer on my truck, works fine. the isolator is A, B is the bump stop (which is removeable, pipe wrench/channel locks and loosen) C is one end of your front sway bar
  20. haha, i love their o-pipes, my T-Ten teacher brought it up one day

    Yuck.

Called an 'hour of power' or a centurion. Hour of power is 60 shots in 60 minutes, centurion is 100 in 100... sounds like fifteen minutes til floor if you were drinking with me ;) 6' 120 LBS... doesn't go well with multiple shots.
