Well i felt it here in the St Louis area. I woke up to a slight shaking and around 10 am I woke up again to the same thing. I thought I was going crazy.

They're all pretty funny but the Bradly powerslide had me rolling.

Personally i would never pay to be a member at NAXJA because of the pure fact that nearly every thread has at least 2 jackass remarks in each thread. I had a 98 Sonoma ext cab with the 2.2 and a slush-o-matic. I tell you what man that thing had the acceleration of 1 legged kid on a tricycle. Had to turn the a/c off when i was attempting to pass and getting on the highway. I'm sure a 5 speed would have been a little less sluggish. I averaged 23 mpg with out the a/c on, 19-20ish mpg with a/c on.

I live in the St. Louis area.....but am up in kirksville area (roughly 6 hours away) and will be for the next 2 weeks. I wouldn't be able to provide much help anyway other than trailering it back to St. Louis.

I've heard rumblings that the Kota was gonna get axed because their not selling at all. No idea how true it is. If a jeep pickup is on the way I hope they made the headlights look better than the new Libby's. I was hoping for something more like the pats front end.

Make sure you pick up a Mid 96-2001 8.25 because the axles are stronger with 29 spline as opposed to an early 8.25 which had 27 spline. The 27 spline is only about as strong as a Danna 35.

I don't believe the 86 cluster will work. 87-90 cluster will swap directly into your 89. I've seen 2 86 2wd drive 4bangers with t-4's. I've also came across a 86 4wd 4 banger with a t-5, but I have a feeling it wasn't factory. The 4wd had the 4.0l fire wall so I'm thinking it was a later build model and was swapped in somewhere along the lines.

Aging platform. I read somewhere that the Grand was supposed to replace the XJ, but Chrysler kept it off the chopping block because XJ sales were still going strong(No idea how true that is).

Eagles right about having to offer a ext cab and crew cab...if the truck does happen, i just hope they do offer a reg cab with a decent array of options.

As of mid 08 ext cab and crew cab Canyons/Colorado's will have a 5.3 v8 op. I owned a 04 reg cab colly with the I5. the I5 has plenty of grunt to pull 4000lbs. GM under rates it so people will go for the Full Size pickups(my theory atleast). I got wicked crazy mpg out of it too 22 mixed driving(lead footed even) and on average all hwy 25mpg...i once got 28 mpg on a 600 mile trip. I miss that truck sometimes.

I have a 04 Sierra 1/2 ton reg cab with about 30k and have not had problems with rusting on the frame nor any bolts. Its been nothing but a solid truck other than the tail seal in my trany leaking and the "normal" intermediate steering shaft clunking.

what about getting a vortec 350 out of a 95ish c/k1500 or 2500. you would have to swap the computer and such over tho.

if jeep was to ever get a new compact/mid sized pickup and they didnt use the JT or Gladator concepts i would kinda like them to use the front from a pat. It just has more of a jeep feel and look.
