  1. Aside from that being totally awesome, the outcome was what I expected. Shows how far crash safety has come in 50 Years.
  2. My dad and I are in the same boat. We both bought craftsman 19.2 volt tools/batterys several years ago for the sake of commonality and we're both dealing with crap and dead batteries. :grrrr: My dad just bought this Porter Cable set for Lowes, he hasn't used it yet. I'm looking at this Porter Cable set (same batteries as my dad's), but I haven't made a up my mind yet.
  3. I've seen an oem tire carrier on both a 93 and 94. I believe there is 2 different models out there. They were dealer installed items.

    Car Stereo Help

Have you looked at the Aftermarket radio to oem plug harness? Maybe there's a bad ground there or possibly the oem radio plug has a loose pin.
  5. Only 18mpg? I had an 04 reg cab z71 4x4 i5 with a slushbox and normally got 23-25mpg on all hwy trips. My 50/50 driving usually netted me 21-22 mpg. My moms crew cab was about 2-3 mpg lower due to the weight and possibly the gear ratio. I had 3.73s(seemed to be the perfect ratio) and my mom had 3.42s. It would definitely be interesting to see an atlas i5 in a mj. I'm sure it would move the comanche around with ease and have some decent mpg numbers.
  6. I know how you feel. I spent 6 months looking for a house with the same realtor. I probably look at 300+ houses. Damn near everything I look at was absolute junk or would take $10-20k min to make it bearable for me to live in(I'm very picky). Towards the end of the search I was doing most of the leg work, in fact she told me that the house I ended up buying was no longer on the market twice!

    The Wave:

Those are two good looking dogs Sam. Awesome pictures too.
  8. :agree: Plus those service beds start rusting the minute paints sprayed on them. The Chevy dealer I bought my truck from regularly keeps new 3/4 ton trucks with service beds on them in stock and damn near all of them are already starting to rust.
  9. I like the color. Is that a mini?
  10. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: SirSam..You sir owe me a new keyboard because its currently mountain dew logged...
  11. They won't be one uping each other because the trucks would be exactly the same except for sheet metal and possibly an option here or there. From what I've read the dakota is done as is the ford ranger, 2011 being the last model year the public can purchase one. Chrysler would be smart to fill its place with a cheap COMPACT pickup, not a midsize truck. Why not produce a Jeep truck to fill that market share. I'm sure businesses would purchase them as fleet trucks as long as they can be had with a economical 4 banger and were priced cheaper than a mid/full-size truck(thats the problem with all the midsize trucks, you can get a similarly equip full-size for roughly the same $).

    Power outage...

Is there a place that sells dry ice close? Load up the top of the freezer with a few lbs of dry ice. Should keep it below freezing.
  13. Don't know if you have already but Check these Ranger Forums out. The Ranger Station is by far the best followed by Ranger Forums. http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/ http://www.ranger-forums.com/ http://www.rangerpowersports.com/forum/

    XJ FUEL QUESTION

My money's on the o2 sensor. Change it and i bet your mileage will be up to the 18-20 range
  17. what year is the truck? The 318 is a very reliable motor, but don't expect much in the way of mileage. I had a 99 2wd club cab with the 3.9. I loved everything about the truck except for the lack of power & horrible mileage(14-15 all hwy at 65).
  18. arn't those called "canyons"?
  19. grab taillights for sure
  20. condoms, zucchini, and vegetable oil
  21. In Missouri you have 30 days to transfer your plates/title. I would think you would be fine with a vehicle specific insurance card and signed title/bill of sale.
  22. It almost looks like a 84-87 s-10/blazer grill that has been bent in the middle.
  23. Thats a good looking dog you got there Sam.
  24. The other day I manged to lock myself out of my new house that I just closed on an hour before. I left the only 2 keys on the kitchen counter. :fs1: I was making a run to the hardware store and out habit locked the door knob and shut the door, once it latched I realize that didn't have any keys. Didn't have garage door remotes nor had I set up a password on the keypad. I ended up having to call a lock smith and wait an hour for him to come opened the door with a casino membership card. My pride was gone and my pockets were 70 doll hairs lighter, but he did put the new door lock & deadbolt on free of charge. I went to get my check book and came back to find him putting them on for me. I always keep a truck key in my wallet and have a house key strategically stashed behind a shutter and keep an extra one in my glove box. First thing I always do when I get a new vehicle is get a flat key made for my wallet. Learned that the hard way.
