Have a 4 cylinder diesel option, 4 & 6 cylinder gas options(preferably not current mopar engines). Offer Reg cab short/long bed, Ex cab short bed, crew short bed(6ft not the 5ft and some change bed that can barely carry groceries) 6spd manual/5 or 6 auto 4wd gets a manual t-case 231 & 242 as options(no electronically shifted t-cases ) "next Gen" Dana 30 front & Dana 44 rear Cloth or vinyl seat coverings(leather=dealer installed option) 40/20/40 or 40/40 buckets with console(short style like ranger or cj) cruise & tilt standard optional power locks/mirrors/windows

I loved my 99 kota's 40/20/40 seats. By far the most comfortable car seats I've ever owned.

I think you may be stuck with limiteds if you don't want the plastic cladding. Limited's also came standard with dual climate controls, leather, and I wanna say nv147 or nv247 as the standard transfer case. I had a 03 base Laredo with 4.0l with a nv242, put well over 50k on with no problems. The 4.0 had plenty of power for me, but I'm in the plains and never drove over a real mountain. Make sure you look over the drivers side seat brackets/frame for cracks or breaks, its a common problem with power seats.

I agree there is no point in a cruise and non-cruise version but in chrysler's infinite wisdom they made 2 different clock springs. Hell the 97-98 xjs and tjs you had to replace the entire steering wheel to add factory cruise.

I don't know about you guys but I think TBS should never be allowed tv rights to the playoffs ever again. The Cards/Dodges series was horrible. Horrible camera work and the crappiest commentary I've ever heard. I honestly thing John madden could call better ball game than those two bags of douche. I can't speak for the rest of the playoffs because I stopped watching after the Deadbirds sucked it up.
