1. PA registration is $58.50/year for the MJ and $36/year for the car.
2. Here you go: http://users.erols.com/true2scale/mj-tie.jpg A = 10 3/4" B=3 5/8" I don't have my front tiedowns cut out but the A dimension should still apply to the fronts.
3. Here's the source of those images: http://www.drive2.ru...zj/?t=90&page=1 Scroll down to find the comanche. Looks like it's a conversion of the XJ as Pete said, the text above the image translates to "And two conversions based Cherokee DelPrado. The first Jeep Comanche:" Here's a page describing the conversion: http://www.forum.mdiecast.com/topic/16594-jeep-comanche/

You Tube

I just checked another topic with a youtube vid and it looks like you use the "media" tag:
5. The pics worked here, I'll repost them: The Equus Products website doesn't list anything like this in their current products. I think this item requires an OBD equipped vehicle and your 87 isn't though.
6. Crankcase ventilation, it runs from the valve cover to the airbox as you can see here: Looks like you have a non-stock airbox though and the previous owner just cut it off. Is there a plug in the valve cover opening?
7. I saved my Dad's TRS-80 model 4P he bought back in 83. I've long forgotten how to get it to do anything beyond booting up though.
8. I put my headliner up with 3M 90 spray (green can) and it has held up through 2 summers and a winter so far. I'm in PA which isn't as hot as where you are, but we had some hot spells here and it is still good. I coated my crumbling backer board with fiberglass resin though which might provide a better surface to bond to than the stock board.
9. Nice work guys, looks good so far!
10. Nicely done! She followed the contour of the seat perfectly from what I can see there.

MJ's Gas

I've seen that commercial so many times and never noticed that, good find!
12. This might be of help: http://www.biblio.com/books/30830320.html
13. Self employed architectural model maker.
14. Another original owner here, picked mine up in Oct 89. 22 years and 160k miles later I'm still lovin it!
15. Still have my only MJ, original owner since Oct 89. A couple of months old....if only she looked that good now.

Moab in winter:

Awesome picture! Took me a while to notice the truck in all that vastness.

VW Fans- Forums?

The technical forums at the Vortex seem to be a little more civilized than the individual model forums. There are subforums for the V6, 4-motion, and transmission there. Congrats on the new VW, I have an 02 GTI and love it.
18. I replaced mine with a Bendix unit and it's been working fine for about a year and a half now. I cleaned up my fuse box with electronic circuit cleaner and lots of towels after removing all the fuses and flashers and it seemed to work fine with no harm to the fuse box.

20. I think this is the one.
21. I bought these wheels a while back, listed as "limited wheels", they were gold repainted black. The only lace wheels on Cherokees seem to be these with a simpler lip and a larger and flatter lace section as shown on your XJ list: I like the wheels a lot, but I'm wondering if there is anything Jeep about them?
