i like the bumper w/o the carrier...i think the carrier should be on the cherokee only ya, but i see no other option of not losing space in the bed, i'm thinking of a roof rack design for the mj, anyone got any thoughts on that.

ya, i saw one floating around here somewhere, it is hard to decide on. i like it, and you lose no bed space w/ the spare. i couldn't decide how i liked the appearance. i'd have to see one in person.

yup. they are ugly, and do not offer anything other than an ugly gap, and tire clearance. no enhanced suspension travel or performance. i hate them with a passion.

yes, out of adjustment shoes will cause the drums to lock up. could be just that. you want to adjust them up till theres a little drag on the drum.

you can tell if you need a new fan clutch by how its spinning. and they don't usually cause over heating in all situations. honestly, i've seen way too many times where a t stat is bad, and you get a bad one from the parts store. personally, i'd try another t stat. and i've found when filling that closed system, fill it to the top to bleed it out, let it run, keep filling, then you know there's no air, it will make a mess cuz it all can't stay in. but it works.

You can't do that in any forums that I have ever seen. The picture must be hosted somewhere in order for it to show on the internet. Some of the larger forums will allow you to "attach" pictures so that they are hosted on the forum website itself, but that takes a lot of bandwidth and gets expensive. i figured thats the case, one forum i use you can, and its nice. just go get a google image or whatever, copy and paste in a discussion. no jumpin through hoops to make it hosted or whatever.

great trans. all my years i've never seen one go. my buddy worked for jeep for ten years in the 90's in their hay day. one trans in 10 yrs he saw go bad, way over 200k. i love that trans, same company that built and still builds trans for toyota. it even looks like a toyota trans. do it.

i like the video, and i agree about all these prescription drugs. i didn't play a game, i posted a video of a song, i used to know all the words to, made by people who obviously use the drug :D i doubt weed can cure osteoperosis, heart disease, erectile disfunction and so on, not really relevant there. and i do think there's debate on medicinal uses. my downside is legalizing it in general to everyone will make it more accesible for people and children that may not have otherwised done so. i could go post a ton of youtube videos about how bad it is, and people telling personal stories how it ruined their life, but i won't waste my time, whats the point. our country is in a downward spiral and has been for decades, no signs of improvement. it would not be a positive turn for our country. our country is going down the moral crapper, and maybe most here are too young to realize it, i'm not very old, almost 30 and just started to realize this not too long ago. our morals are gone.

sounds like you wanna pull the differential carrier out, and yes, you have to remove the hub to remove the shaft. you have to remove the center pin so the shafts slide towards the center for the c clip to be removed, then the shafts have to be slid out of the spider gears before you can remove the carrier.

this sums up my point on the subject, i've done it, had friends that did it anywhere from time to time to couldn't function without it. i got no use for it, and guarantee if it was legal, it would not have helped me at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_qD9uZ8kB8

^really, i was unable to just slide the little window out, i tried. i've done many windows, you can usually just C#*@ them a little, and slide out of the jam. pre 97 i couldn't get it out, i had to take it out with the guide.

FWIW, have you employed or worked with any alcoholics? How did they fare? Like anything, abuse (IE, gross over-use) will definatly affect somebody. I'm sure you're guilty of having a few drinks on friday night. Would you naturally assume that somebody who takes a few drags from a marijuana cigarette on occasion to be a worse person? I'm not into weed, but I wouldn't hold it against a guy for wanting to get high occasionally. All the time? Yes, then they have a problem. I know people who have to get high in the morning before work, sneak off to get high during work, then get high after work. Sounds a hell of a lot like an alcoholic to me, just with a different substance. nope....gave it up. and evey person i've ever worked with that abused anything, legal or illegal, were not good employees. and i've worked with guys that did what you're saying, hi in the morning, sneak off during work, and at night all day every day. and they were unreliable, late, and poor workers, the same goes for alcoholics...unreliable and late are pretty standard characteristics. even smokers, whenever i need to find an employee to do something, where do i find them, outside smoking....then i have to wait, customer has to wait, and then they can perform their task kinda weird as a non user of any of these, i actually have to be there and do my job always and when expected....weird. so why make another addictive, damaging, controlling substance legal.
