  1. well if you're talking about your renix era jeep in your sig, you can start there. later style head and intake manifold from ho 4.0. header at the same time makes sense. i don't like k&n and the other air filter/ "cold air" bs. you can make small gains with intake/exhaust upgrades. more bang for your buck is gears, if you have even slightly larger tires and wanna feel it more off the line. after that the real gain is in displacement. stroker is gonna give you more than any add ons you can pile up.
  2. you like punishment don't you? :rotfl2:
  3. aww man...still not quite a thousand :rotfl2:
  4. in my opinion good years whole effort at this market has sucked since the beginning. why should those be any different. their tires are decent, but over priced. i agree all around can't go wrong with bfg mt, or suck it up and get swampers of a wide variety and deal with it on the road. many do.
  5. finally put in a temp sender so the gauge cluster swapped from an idiot cluster has a working temp gauge now :clapping:
  6. i see no reason to bother with that axle if its a d35. what are you wanting to do with it? edit. guess i should've read the whole thing. are you talking about an xj wagoneer, or a full size?
  7. careful of waggy d44. most waggys were auto, and the auto waggy had an offset rear axle. the diff was to the right side, making it uselss to us. it was for some full time 4 wheel drive they used. but manual waggy's had a centered rear axle. most waggys had right side drop front axles as well.
  8. Are you referring to the front Scout axle? All front Scout axles have the differential on the passenger side. Willy makes it a great combo w/ the d300
  9. don't those have aluminum housings or something?
  10. i got scout axles for my yj. i don't remember off hand but some earlier year scout axles weren't desirable. scout II i think is what you want. but again, i'm not positive off the top of my head.
  11. oooh...curb flex  Ok well the grassy slope is steeper than it looks  8) :rotfl2: i think thats almost a thousand on the curb ramp :rotf:
  12. cool dog, looks like he found sumpin

    Paint?

i changed my mind. that could be really cool, your interior is already sweet right, power everything and i think you have tan and green seats, and some wood trim if i remember. paint that color, w/ a tan stripe. and get either sahara stickers, or up country stickers. and have the first sahara or up country mj. and your interior already goes with it.

    Paint?

i don't hate it, but had to vote that way, just not a green fan. edit: although, that may tie into your interior pretty slick right?
  18. i might have a use for a few parts, so think about a whole price. the trans and motor stay? are you just snagging the axles?
  19. i'm in beach park, all the way east on the lake. 5 mins from the border. does it have a rear wiper/washer. i could use that.
  20. yep, use a couple c clamps to keep the springs together, and you'll probably wanna replace the center bolt. it will be pretty weak even if it doesn't break. just don't loosen the nut without clamping the springs together. new u bolts wouldn't hurt either. where'd ya get the perches, i'll need 6 pretty soon.
  21. nice adventure. hey, you're not too far from me. i need a cluster for my 96, full gauge, not idiot lights. let me know.
  22. looks good mane
  23. giving up so quickly? :rotfl2: well, I KNOW I can make custom gauges work. I THINK I can make most of the factory gauges work. which would you choose...that which you know, or that which you're relatively cerain? 6 or so years ago when i was your age? i'd do what i think i could make work cuz others don't think it will :rotfl2: now, i'd save myself the headache and stick with what i know works.
  24. giving up so quickly? :rotfl2:
  25. i didn't think they were using ccd bus, that bus interface crap is a problem.
