i'm a fan of jardine to, he's sort of unlucky. everytime he needs to win one more fight to get a shot at the title, he loses. he's beaten two former champs now, one just before he became a champ, and he beat liddell. he's definitely a top notch fighter.

8.8 Set-Up Spec Question
jpdocdave replied to 64 Cheyenne's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
you want 11-16 thou. i've never seen the "new cut" so i don't know what it looks like, but even the 03 exploder with the aluminum independent rear was the "old cut" i would however like to know an answer to this question, i couldn't find a straight answer either. -
i just read the highlights in my email. only thing i miss since i dumped tv is ufc, and maybe discovery channel. anywho, i'm pretty happy. I really like Matt Hamill, he beat Jardine, which is definitely a big fight. imo Hamill should have been fighting better fighters a while ago. Especially after the Bisping fight, (which we all know Hamill really won) I want to see him in some more good fights. And Leben won, I like him as well. He's had a rough streak, and lost some fights. I like his story, he's cleaned up his life, and seems dedicated. He is fun to watch, you can never count him out.

they look like they'll make some noise. you can make them work

why are you deciding to continue to deal with idiot hokey tire shops? have you thought about buying the tires you want on tirerack.com and then decide where you want to have them mounted and balanced. there's no need to save money on balancing. call around to some real repair shops, and have someone that knows what they're doing on the other end.

i'm still not a fan of goodyear

na, you don't need a case spreader, especially if you've never really done any of the work. besides, you can do yourself a bunch of harm with them as well.

hankook makes a really nice one, and obviously attractively priced. i think its the at/m, we put them on my boss's excursion 6 months ago or so. i've been dealing with hankook for a few years now, i will recommend them to anyone, zero complaints, great tires and a great price. edit: at/m rf10 http://www.discounttire.com/tireInfoHan ... they aren't necessary for the job

the title says gear install, so i'm assuming you are installing new gears (or new to that axle) don't let anyone help you that says they can just reuse the old shims. thats my only advice.

he's nuts. but now his attitude sucks. i hate cocky fighters. but on the other hand, can you blame him. no one has even given him a challenge in the best organization with the best competition, he's walked through everyone, in multiple weight classes. i know of 3 weight classes he's fought as of in the last few years.
-
he was the best period in his time, up untill the rampage fight. he was the most accurate, most feared, hardest hitting knock out artist there was. he would knock guys out while circling back. his rise and reign was impressive. he was also one of the best take down defenders. but i also think the sport passed him up, the contenders now are insane. they are the best of the best in everything. you gotta have more than punches, and take down defense these days. guys like gsp, anderson silva, forrest, randy cotoure, and even though he's not that exciting, lyoto machida. i won't take anything away from chuck, if he was 10 or even 5 years younger he would adapt and continue to be on top, i think just the way his body looked shows that. he looked better than he did when he was 30. i wish he could have a couple more fights, i think he would still be a force.
-
for sure, he is a hall of famer. he actually never got knocked out untill the rampage fight. the beginning of the end. he and randy cotoure are what helped make mma what it is today.
-
so is the iceman done? i didn't get to see the fight, but he got knocked out by franklin. i just saw the square off pic at the weigh in, chuck looked in his best shape ever. its a shame, i'd like to see him hang in there, but it looks like the game has passed him up. he was one of the best. but he's lost what, 5 of his last 6 now?

good luck :typing:
