new to me manche, new to me problems...

you need to fix the short first. and if the fuse holder is melted that bad the fuse box may need to be replaced. here's an all out last ditch effort to find the short, this is if you can't find it at all, and I never told you this: put a paper clip where the fuse goes, and look for the smoke, it will start smoking where the problem is. if you don't see anything after a few seconds, turn it off. -
^and held nothing back btw. I still have the pic of you climbing out your rear window, and laying down hanging out the back of the bed to hook up a strap to get pulled out

i'm tied up saturday now, some volunteer mumbo jumbo, i'm such a nice guy. i'll tell my buddy, he wants to get out, and has gone to the badlands by himself once or twice recently.
-
the tab is probably broken off, see if you can pry it out from underneath without the tab and this title was misleading :rotf:
-
Anyone got any creative ideas for boxes. I'm thinking of just mounting an ammo can on each side, I don't really care for the truck tool box on the tongue.
-
I just read this a little closer, I have a rule in diagnostics, don't overlook or dismiss known problems by theorizing why thats not it, fix known problems. Its called the basics. How can you be sure a leaking manifold, and bad 02 isn't causing this, my mj acted all sorts of stupid with a bad o2, and right off the bat, not after warming up. I assume the throttle body you tried, means the tps was also swapped, and no pinched fuel line anywhere.
-
nah, its already 2 or 3 different shades :rotfl2: , I'm sure one would match. I guess if it wasn't the same red it wouldn't look good though. So black?
-
anyway, back to the trailer, red or black?
-
those first few sucked.....but the cj was sweet. they should've come up with something different for that smaller class, as soon as they got in it was over.
-
so you had this problem and the iac made no difference correct? I'd look for vacuum leaks, especailly at the manifold gasket, and check throttle and linkages to make sure its not binding, or being mechanically held a little open.
-
they are still made today, but things are changing for ingersoll since they moved out of Wisconsin, and stopped using the case name. There's a bunch of them around Wisconsin, and all over actually. Parts are readily available, and they will always get repaired, and never thrown out.
-
changing subject for a second, that ingersoll in my pic i stumbled on. Turns out they are bad mama jamma tractors. I love it, that would be my first choice over a deere or anything, they are all hydraulic, not hydrostatic, even the deck raises and lowers hydraulically. Case/Ingersoll garden tractors are sweet machines. Hi/Low range, all sorts of attachments, and they are driven by a hydraulic pto. I'd be looking for a case/ingersoll.

mental note: he can't borrow my trailer. :rotf: I'm talking more like one of my fleet, which is actually thinned out a little also. Image Not Found

I was gonna say, that fuel pressure is for sure the problem, but not if your gauge is not right. and before that i was gonna say cat, but you already cleared that from the equation.
-
I picked this bad boy up today, 5x10. I've been wanting a trailer to haul tractors, and whatever crap I want around. I'm thinking of painting it red, any thoughts
-
you need a weed whacker
-
that thing is gonna suck to get parts, and it will have issues. I work on many newer audi's, as well as the customers that won't five up their 80's audi's, its a wealthier area, and they spend close to a grand every time they're in. have fun with that  head gasket likes to leak to.

i think i'm on vacation that week, i have a buddy that wants to get out that week with his tj, maybe we will swing down then. i'd just be a passenger.
-
great score man, i hate rust with a passion, you a lucky guy there.
-
wow man, i've seen a lot of pregnant tires, but none like that. i don't think i would've gone near it.
-
Don't know the difference - leak or ??

no adjustments on 4.0 valve train. i had problems finding an exhaust manifold for my renix, the updated style with flex pipes built in was for ho only. I had a reputable welder weld mine, and its lasted for 2 years so far. -
does anyone think its hokey that Rob has had to delete two of the threads, and the poster is not responding to requests for more info, I guess any more beyond that is a fool and his money territory, I'll stop here.
-
thats what i was gonna ask, i think right before i joined here i remember reading about it. i'd be weary of dealing internationally, and the thread that keeps popping up here from a seller looks hokey if you ask me. it looks like those stupid spam posts, just for a change its something that people feel is relevant here.
