  1. I think this is the type you want. http://comancheclub.com/topic/39872-86-v6-34-cluster-40-ny/ PM me if interested
  2. Wish I learned how to drive stick. I want this MJ.
  3. How about on the dash above the radio? Mic can be mounted to the side of the CB or on the clock bezel. That is how it was in my MJ. In my XJ it was mounted on the passenger side of the transmission.
  4. There are two different styles of woodgrain dash bezels. One is a from 84-90 XJ Wagoneers like in this pic: The other style of woodgrain dash bezels are out of mid 90s (not sure exact years) XJ Cherokee "Country" models. (At least that is where I have seen them)
  5. I like the 86 that's posted there. Comanches barely pop up on CL in NY.
  6. No idea what it could be from. But that is a cool find. Coolest thing I found at my apartment is some type of fossil.
  7. I didn't realize it was not an American Jeep. That would explain my issue with the doors. Other countries received some changes before the US.
  8. That is the best deal for Truck-Lite LEDs. Those usually go for $500+ for the pair. A road-stone isn't gonna mess them up. They are made from some kind of impact resistant glass. They are legit military-grade. When I worked in the motorpool, I used to upgrade any old Humvee lights with Truck-Lite LEDs. If I had the $$ now, I would be buying these for my XJ. There are a few threads about these and they have great reviews.
  9. Photoshop? 97+ conversion on the inside including the door panels but, using pre 97 doors and exterior...
  10. ^ Look on rockauto. A lot of Jeep people use 2x4 or 2x6 metal instead of stock replacement.
  11. The lights might. I have never tried that. Best bet is to find an 84-86 cluster and swap the entire thing. That is what most people do. If you replace the cluster from "idiot" gauges to full gauges, you'll want a new oil pressure sensor and temp sensor. Since you have "idiot" lights, you have senders which can only signal the "idiot" light to come on.
  12. I know nothing about the 2.1 but I'm jealous that you have one. I haven't found any in NY.
  13. My brother was moving out of state and couldn't bring it with him. So I bought it off him, tables have turned now, he's getting it back since I'm moving lol.
  14. If you build a custom bracket, you can make it work. I have Grand Cherokee seats in my Comanche. I've seen seats from an Acura on CherokeeForum.
  15. Lots of cheap parts swap from XJ Cherokees. Pretty reliable, its a Jeep, good gas mileage for its age, and it was already in my driveway when I bought it.

    Time Capsule

I like the AMC Jeep badge, I have one somewhere.
  17. Its a great site, just watch out for shipping costs, they can get pricey. My Comanche floor pans were about 50% cheaper on there compared to other sites.
  18. Rockauto sells them for half the price other people charge.
  19. By mechanical you mean "full cluster"? What year? 86? 87? 88-90? 91-92? What engine and transmission? Do you care about the mileage on the cluster?
  20. Image Not Found Image Not Found
  21. I got one. I can upload pics tomorrow.
  22. I like my Optima Yellow Top in my XJ. Only had it for about 9 months though so I don't know how good it'll be in the long run. I had no issues starting my XJ over the winter.
  23. I got an 88 cluster yesterday, let me know if you still need it.
  24. I messed up mine when trying to install it. So its in a dump somewhere. But the business cards are nice.
