johnj92131, you have been here way longer than me so I believe what you say. But take this into consideration, this is a pretty open site. There is no post count required to sell or even MJ ownership for an account. So its possible for someone to "sell" a part, get the money and move on. Seems that all is good now but you never know what could happen. The plus side of my idea is that people with good buying and selling experiences would be even more trusted.

Her Favorite Color Is Chrome
rmoore1031 replied to CommaComanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Remember I texted you? My chrome one is the passenger side with the adjuster, I have a grey driver side. Sorry about getting the info wrong at first. Would you be interested in my set for $60 shipped? I know its not exactly what you are looking for, but I'm trying to reduce my parts pile. -
Yeah the current system is good. But what if someone got screwed over several months ago? As mentioned before, there are a lot of old threads about parts and finding good or bad info would take forever.

There has been some issues with sellers and buyers on CherokeeForum. How does ComancheClub feel about a feedback section or thread on experiences? I haven't bought anything on here but have sold a few parts. I try my best to arrange payment, get it shipped, and provide tracking numbers. I even sent a video of testing a cluster one time. Anyway, what's your opinions?

I blame CherokeeForum. But ComancheClub is good too.

I'd like $150 for it. I'm down for a little road trip. PM me if interested.

I have the roll bar for a long bed. I'm on Fort Drum, NY. About 5 hours away.

I think I'm out of clusters. What engine and transmission do you have? How many miles?

Wow. Haven't heard a crazy theory like that since Lost. I like it.

Full of political promises? Oh wait that was a sign on a septic truck...

Best Way To Replace Floor Pans
rmoore1031 replied to ComancheJon's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Little late now lol. Plus I couldn't take on that kind of project where I currently live. I can't even do oil changes here. When I move in a few weeks, things will change. My Cherokee floors are in good shape so I don't have to worry about that. My Cherokee rockers are rusting away. Is that a good project to learn on? -
Automatic Or Manual
rmoore1031 replied to 88whitemanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I like automatic. But I haven't figured out stick so I'm kinda biased. The AW4 is a great transmission. AX5 and AX15 are highly regarded manuals. The others, not so much. -
Best Way To Replace Floor Pans
rmoore1031 replied to ComancheJon's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I need to get this done as well. I also need rockers on both sides. Can you give me a ballpark of what the cost was to install? $600! No joke. Labor is not cheap. My floors were disgusting and they had to rebuild my transmission tunnel. My bench seat was also nasty so I threw it away. They ended up putting in Grand Cherokee seats. They also undercoated the entire floor so it should be good for a long time. I wish I had the knowledge of how to do it myself. I coulda bought a welder, grinder, and misc supplies for like $250 at Harbor Freight. -

Her Favorite Color Is Chrome

I think I still have my chrome mirror. I think it's a driver chrome and a passenger is gray. I'll have to look in my garage later. -
Have you seen these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1984-2001-AMC-Jeep-XJ-Cherokee-Mudflap-Set-of-Four-with-attach-hardware-/151080637596?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item232d1b949c&vxp=mtr

No problem, feel free to post links if you want opinions.

This thread sounds like one from a few months ago.

You can get mirrors off a F150 and screw them into your door like I did on my MJ.

I have a 90 XJ Laredo. I love it. Has everything your asking about. I prefer the Renix over the HO. I don't care for OBD 1 or 2. I have had no major issues on my XJ. The closed cooling system isn't ideal for Vegas, you'd want to convert to open system and other upgrades. CherokeeForum has TONS of information. I would avoid 84-86 years. Crappy engine/transmissions and carb or TBI for fuel systems. Also avoid 00-01. The head is prone to cracking from overheating, hence a problem for you.

Think its called a moon visor if it has lights.

Project "slow Zombie" Xj
rmoore1031 replied to rmoore1031's topic in Member Projects: Other Cool Stuff
Still doing some work on my XJ, seems easy to come up with small projects. Been touching up the OD Green paint and redoing the bedlined flares and lower bottom body line. Killed the rust on my doors by cutting it out and adding bedlined diamond plate. Added a Hi Lift jack to my roof rack basket. Bedlined my stock chrome bumpers. Looks good. Only needs a little work for my style. I like the black exterior with maroon interior. That would be around $3K or more here. By the way, is that factory push bar for a jeep? Thought its from a Chevy or Ford truck. -
I'll be "that guy". I prefer my XJ over a MJ. My XJ is a great DD and still capable off road. Now hear me out before you think I'm anti MJ. XJ had way more options from the factory. From base model seats to electric leather seats. More interior options. The tail lights are cheap and available everywhere. Stock roof rack (or what ever you want to call it). More XJs came with 4WD. More engine/transmission combinations. Way more aftermarket support too. Oh they were made for 17 years not 6 years. Now MJs have some benefits too. Truck bed obviously. Light weight. High ground clearance for a small truck. Last real Jeep truck. Different bed lengths. There are some good similarities too. Swappable parts such as engine/transmissions and axles. Front clips are swappable. Wheels and tires are the same or will swap. Most parts are pretty cheap and easy to find. They are still Jeeps made mostly out of metal, unlike more modern vehicles.

Craigs List Mj In Millville Nj
rmoore1031 replied to 54bobby's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
He's not kidding about the work done to it. I believe his S/N is istaywikkid or something like that. Anyway, me and the seller spent A LOT of time working on it over the last year. I almost bought it before, but decided to change of plans and pretty much redo everything on his MJ.
