  1. Still looking
  2. Assuming it has some rust since it has a different bed. Mod, please move to Craigslist section, not sure how it was posted in Wanted.
  3. Not my 89 Jeep Comanche. This is a few towns away from. I can check it out if someone is interested: "great shape everything works tons of extra parts 3000 best or trade" https://ithaca.craigslist.org/cto/5278878307.html
  4. There's a fairly new Cabela's in the buffalo area you could check out. And there is a casino or two if you gamble. T hats all I know.
  5. Bump
  6. I have the 7" round LED Truck-Lites on my JK and they are great. So I tried the 200mm rectangular Truck-Lites on the MJ and was not impressed. Far less light output than the round ones. I also tried some GE Nighthawk LEDs and they were less than stellar also. I think it's more difficult to get a good light pattern with the rectangular housing. So I went back to the Hella e-codes. I know your down south hornbrod so I don't know how much this would affect you (or how often), but more specifically rmoore being in NY and with winters do you notice any ice buildup or whatnot in the winter when driving? that's one of the main reasons I never went to LED primary lighting because ive had many of storms that have iced up my whole front end with .5-1inch of solid ice but my headlights still melt and shine through. id imagine not with LEDs as they don't produce heat Yeah the ice/snow build up does suck in the winter. But the snow is so bright with LEDs!
  7. I recommend Truck-Lites to anyone. I have them on my XJ and will probably get them for the MJ too. http://www.drivetrainamerica.com/truck-lite-27450c-pair-of-rectangular-led-5x7-gm-ford-van-jeep-xj-yj-headlights/
  8. Ok thanks.
  9. 1989 Jeep Comanche Pioneer I6 4.0L, AW4, 2WD, Longbed Built in 02/89 Marathon, NY Soon to be on the road needs new tires and fuel tank. Pretty much a base model. Has a column shifter, blue interior/exterior with bench seat. Bought it off the original owner with 87,5xx miles and the original window sticker.
  10. Looking for a blue steering wheel shipped to 13803.
  11. The 89 MJ is mine.

  12. Took forever but I found a cheap Comanche to buy. Found it the other day on Craigslist and drove 2 hours to get it. It has all the typical NY rust, but it drives great. It is a 1989 Comanche Pioneer I6 4.0 2WD auto with a long bed. Best part is I bought it from the original owner with 87,5xx miles. Even have the original window sticker. In no particular order it needs: new gas tank and hardware, horn fixed, steering wheel replaced, new floor pans, new tires, new brakes, a less rusty bed, headliner repair, and sunvisor clip. These are the pics from the ad:
  13. Added myself, cool feature even works on smartphones.
  14. Might be getting an 89 MJ...

  15. Update: $2.11 today for gas. Wow that dropped so quick I forgot it had been up. Diesel is about $2.99-3.09.
  16. Was this the one that had the option to buy a NOS crate turbo diesel on eBay like a year ago?
  17. I towed a SWB Comanche on a u haul auto transport trailer. The Comanche had 31s and the bed was loaded with stuff. Used a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer V8 from Upstate NY to Central NJ. Went through the mountaints with no problem. I'm sure I could find pics from then. It was istaywikkid's Comanche that was being towed. The straps barely fit the 31s, almost had to air down the tires.
  18. Last time I checked, you can not delete threads. Pretty sure an admin has to do it for you. Usually marking the title with *SOLD* in the beginning and/or end of the ad will get attention to delete it.
  19. Still accepting donations? I could use a few business cards, found a MJ parked next to my XJ this morning.
  20. When this thread was made, about $2.71. Now its going up here to $2.89. But in the 5 months of living here in Arkansas the highest I saw was $3.19. Way better than it was in NY or CT
  21. The PO of my truck butchered the factory wiring, so I'm going to have to jump some hoops to get it working the way I'd like; even though I have the Chrysler unit inside of it atm. Still need to bench test the unit you sent me, in the process of cleaning it up some. Probably going to sit on it for a while with the other ones I have until I decide which one is going to go into the truck at some point down the road. Still, always looking for more head units, lol. Still looking for mirrors as well. Having serious thoughts about trying my hand at some of the aftermarket Omix-Ada(?) branded ones, just to see what the quality is like verses OE. Would still like to get my hands on some OE ones in decent shape though, for comparison purposes. All the ones I keep finding in the yards down here are rusted out inside the spring area. :fs2: I imagine the Omix-Ada are pretty close to OEM. As you probably know you can find them on eBay, Amazon, and RockAuto all day. These are off my XJ, like I said passenger is chrome, just want them gone honestly. Image Not FoundImage Not Found
  22. Still looking for chrome mirrors? I think old my passenger mirror was chrome. Guessing that radio wasn't plug and play that I sent you?
  23. Had a blue 97 2 door 4WD stock rust free last year... but it had over 200k on it. Found it for sale on someone's yard, they said it was already spoken for. A few weeks went by and I saw they posted it on Craigslist. Bought it that day for $800. There is one out there for you and I'll look around here in AR for you.
  24. Wasn't that dually MJ for sale awhile ago?
