I have a black tilt steering column shift in my for sale thread and it has a grant steering wheel on it as well. Has key and newer sensors as well.

dealing with same issue now myself. What do you do when you don't have the old column and have no 11 pin flat coming out of your column well I just figured out what you do. instead of running the white and tan wire out of the xj black connector to "P",( which you do not have with newer column), just splice into tan and dark green wire (stop and rh turn wire) that runs out the connector in same area, This should take care of the brake light issues. :)

I understand all this but what I'm missing is a 11 pin flat. I had one on my old steering column, MJ one but not on my XJ one, so what does that mean?

Made it home :MJ 1: only issue I had was an alt issue I think. Had to run a duel battery set up off my passenger floor to finish the ride home. and shot of some sexy rims and some boggers. :yes: 37's on 16" Allied.

Well got to take it for a short test drive last night. :yes: new shoes on Headed out now to finish seat install and button a few things up and should be good to go. And going to be in upper 60's today so couldn't ask for a better day to finish it up.

may have to try that with my baby MJ seems to be acting the same way latly just been to focused on big jeep to deal with dd. lol better look into it. thanks for this tid bit. :thumbsup:

Sliders use a 2" x 3" or 4". As far as bumper just take mou.ting measuremnts off your stock bumper and then go to town and be creative make one to suit you and your ride.

Plan to custom back mine as well for for so wheel base shortening. But love that first rig and would like something like that but all tubed.
