MancheKid86 replied to Onabudget's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
it think mines slower, it took me almost a year to figure out that i got the wrong clutch lookin good -
i finally found out the problem!! i took my old clutch plate and put it onto the new preasure plate, the new one was too big! now that i know that, it makes tons of sense. itwasnt because it was damaged, it was because they sent me the wrong one, but i don't have the reciept to send it back, i don't even remember where i ordered it from, well its all good, i get an actual clutch that works within the next week

yes finally got a day where i could drop my transmission, i have finally found the problem with my clutch!!!! look at pics and ill explain as i go :D everything disconected transmission out here's my new old clutch, clutch is off clutch is out and finally after almost a year i done some logical thinking, what i should have done before i put it in! and what i did was measure it! its seemed a bit off, it's 9 1/2 inches wide took my old clutch plate i saved, thank god, and placed it onto the clutch cover, my clutch i ordered was to big, so it wasn't that it was damaged when it was installed, it just wasn't the right clutch at all, now i know what the problem is, will get new clutch set tomorow, or the next day. any body need a new clutch? -

got rained out again today, going to hopefully drop my transmission tomorow, i found a clutch cover on ebay for $6.23 CAD thats all i need, i bent the fingers on my old new clutch clover, so I'm stuck with either buying a full kit and picking it up the same day, witch will cost about $300 or pay $39 shipping, and another $39 so i can get it over the border, and have to wait a couple days for it to get here, what to do, haha well I'm dropping my trans tomorrow , and the people that are funding my clutch will choose a verdict for me, will update withs pics when i work on my manche again -
your best bet would be to find a salvage yard that has an mj there, make buddys with the guy who owns it :P buy the bed, and then make it rust free yourself, an angle grinder, and primer and paint and a few hours later you have a rust free bed :D
-
lookin good  can't wait to see it with a bed on it :D remember when you attach the bed to attach the ground wire :D lol i also noticed you have "a" power window

gas tank and transmission questions
MancheKid86 replied to MancheKid86's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
so the red spindle on it reads how fast its going?if yes, do i need to put in back in a specific way? -
dropped my transmission a while ago and that piece hooked up on the black hose came out with a red spindle on it, when i pulled the spindle out fluid came out of the line, how do i fill that line back up? I'm thinking it won't do it itself also i found this t valve that is right beside my gastank, there are 2 hoses instead of 3 hooked up, i don't think that is proper? where is the other part of the hose supposed to be? there is a "breather hose" hanging by it, but it doesnt reach to it, help
