I finally successfully removed your admin status as per requested. :thumbsup: the number of spammers has actually gone up. I used to leave them in the database because they can't try the same name of email twice. but after you mentioned they were eating our space, I purged them all. :typing:

yeah, that always irked me about picturetrail. they are just a bit too professional. not enough tools for us amateurs. :yes: got a facebook account? I believe they shrink them as they get uploaded. or you can try photobucket. I think they have post-upload options for posting smaller images. or go to download.com and get irfanview. It's a program put out by (I think) ebay originally and it does batch resizings/renamings/etc. It's not the most user friendly program, but it's free and it shrinks everything for you. :thumbsup:

I had a similar issue in my 88. brake pedal was firm when engine was off, but completely mushy when engine was running. turned out to be a bad booster. :thumbsup:

I wouldn't even think about swapping the gears, but rather would swap the complete axles themselves. gears aren't as easy as bolting them in. they must be set up properly and, long story short, it's just not for the novice. 3.55s should give you more perceived power (and a bigger smile) and a bit better fuel economy (since the engine won't have to work as hard to get the truck going from a stop). :thumbsup: I'd do it in a heartbeat. :yes:

they might indeed be a pain in the butt, but gears are not as simple as just bolting them in. they must be "set up". it's one of the few things on a rig that are not for a novice to tackle blind.

Going SOA lifts the back end up 5.5-6.5 inches over the current height. but how much lift you need in the front will depend on the condition of your leafs and if you want a bit of a rake to the truck (do you want it level when empty, or level with some stuff in the bed). and those numbers will change if you add in a heavy bumper, winch, etc.
