it's inside the axle end if it's there. what's the diameter of the driveshaft? the rubber isolator ones are bigger than the regular ones.

the part number shows it as a 94-96 AX-15. :thumbsup:

if I remember right, the big ring o' metal right in front of the shifter handle is steel on the AX-5 and aluminum on the AX-15. :thumbsup:

the ZJ axle will bolt up, and will be fine for stock trucks, but its low pinion and that can become an issue on lifted truck. plus some of them came with CV joints. once again fine for street trucks, less good for lifted.

check the track bar. chances are that the upper end (drivers side) is either worn out or loose.

well, not a real poll, since those don't work. :shake: I'm starting a thread to get some idea of how many would like a t-shirt/longsleeve shirt/hoodie if we were to do another order. I had my rubber insert driveshaft cut down, no problemo. :thumbsup: but i have heard of shops refusing. (mostly out of ignorance. just have them cut down the non-rubber insert end :D )

97+ should be the better ones. :thumbsup: far as I know, they are all identical on the outside. maybe the tag has some info? :dunno:

I elongated the stock shock mount holes to fit a larger diameter axle tube. worked ok. :thumbsup: new perches would be better. pay attention to the orientation of the shock lower mounts as they are different than XJs. I thought the 8.25 had a slightly longer snout on it?

meh. it's no where near as bad as others I've seen. It just has a very specific purpose: deep, deep mud. or crushing cars. :D

what do you want out of your truck in the end? daily driver? trail monster? how big of a tire?

is there enough oil in it? any work done to it lately? what broke?
