  1. no picture of the truck?
  2. there's new info on the street MJ history in the thread about the archer brothers. I'll see if I can find it.
  3. how exactly would this all work? got a link to a forum using it?
  4. long term loads can adversely affect the leafs too. In fact, they could be worse depending on the circumstances. I had an engine block in the back of my metric ton for about a year, wasn't even at the back of the bed. the leaf packs will never be the same. :( Years before I had carried plenty of loads that put the bed on the bumpstops without affecting anything in a perceivable way.
  5. as a general rule of thumb, no.
  6. oh, and I have a 1gig card currently. looking to get a 2 giger. :D
  7. FOUND IT! it was indeed under the battery. I have a 1018P apparently. originally I was going to ask Asus, but the query form asked for my model and serial number :rotf: and even their site says I should have a sticker on the bottom of my netbook. damn chinese can't even put a sticker in the right spot. :fs1:
  8. The computer page and the screen bezel say the model is a Eee PC, except that info doesn't get me any closer to finding a RAM card (they want a number like G60, x101h, 1215T, etc). :( I wonder if there's anything under the battery... part of me thinks that all the memory cards are the same and that this is all pointless, but I'd rather not spend money on an uneducated guess.
  9. my computer is a 2 year old Asus Eee PC with an Atom N455 processor. Was looking at getting some more RAM but it would appear I need to know which specific model I have. The guy at the online computer store said I should have a sticker on the bottom of my computer that has that info, but the only one I see tells about the microsoft aspect (windows 7) rather than the Asus parts. :dunno: ideas?
  10. I found a 2-fer! :rotf: oh, the random crap you can find on the internet...
  11. yes, that one is a much better candidate. make sure the parts you need work before plunking down money.
  12. the driveshaft from a 4.0/stick with the same bed length will be 1" longer. this may or may not be helpful depending on if you can find one. :(
  13. there's your problem. you've got 3.07 gears in those axles. :( 3.07s suck. upgrading to axles with 4.10s (or even 3.55s if you can't find a pair with 4.10s) will bring the power back.
  14. agreed. even a small cheap 32" lcd will improve on all but the best tubers. mine is only 720p and pushing a decade in age and I feel no need to get anything bigger or better. :D
  15. one of the stickied threads in the DIY forum will show you how to fix the CAD in the front axle once and for all. how big are your tires?
  16. I'm looking at them right now on my paused screen and they are definitely revolvers or revolver-esque.
  17. is the truck auto or manual?
  18. You look t be sitting ont he overload leaf, so help is needed. If you stick with used I would definitely add in another main leaf (with the eyes cut off) to help support the current main. that won't add much height though, so you'll need another leaf for that. You might be able to get all you need from a MJ or Dakota or S-10 leaf pack outta the junkyard.
  19. wouldn't we all. problem is we don't have concrete info to fill in those blanks. :(
  20. a single triangle would be nice.
  21. they called it the Grand Wagoneer. There was a fullsize Cherokee too (died out in 83 I think). the "Grand Cherokee" moniker was first used in 93 on the ZJ.
