  1. that's what I would do. just because it's a good deal, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
  2. neat
  3. The dana 300 is a pass side drop. your Dana 30 is a drivers side diff. you'll need a flip kit.
  4. that sucks. :( sorry 'bout that man.
  5. my guess is that you could use 4.0 mounts from an MJ/XJ. the MJ/XJ mounts bolt-on. what are you doing for axles?
  6. his level of intellect doesn't quite back that up :rotf:
  7. pretty sure my account was indeed hacked. hotmail shut the account down and made me jump through numerous hoops to get it opened back up.
  8. and that's why I say check the condition extra thoroughly.
  9. it's not completely outrageous, but a little high. whatever you do, don't assume that everything is perfect inside the axles. pop the covers and inspect.
  10. guess it was bound to happen eventually. :( obviously if anyone has received an email from me in the last few hours that contains just a weird link, don't click it. or if you do click it, lemme know what happens. :rotf:
  11. all I can add is please don't spend a dime on upgrading the Dana 35. invest your money into an axle that'll last.
  12. true. first gear is going to suck. :(
  13. even worse. :( that means you have 3.55 gears. :(
  14. thanks. :D
  15. lower rpms do NOT directly relate to better fuel economy. otherwise we'd all have 2.00 gears in our axles. peak efficiency comes at the peak torque. which is not all that low for the 2.5L. you might find 5th gear pretty worthless.
