  1. the bed in my 88 exists solely to carry my offroad gear so I got a big ol' "SUV" box. i think it might be easier to answer what's NOT in it. :rotf:
  2. mud that came in through the window during the previous wheeling trip. :D
  3. my 88 has been rockin' the dash carpet for years now. even got it embroidered with "comanche". :D but do yourself a favor and get in touch with the actual company that makes them and request that they NOT cut out the glovebox latch hole.
  4. forgot to show the other reason for going with the WJ arms. the bend for tire clearance. :D
  5. 99-04. and yes, I think the uppers work too. lowers will need the steel inserts trimmed a bit. can be done with a grinder, sawzall or whatever.
  6. if they are shot (and it sounds like it), I'd recommend upgrading to some WJ grand cherokee arms. they are better built in ever way, old enough to be cheap at the junkyards but new enough to usually be in great shape when you find them.
  7. If you'd like some club cards, just send me a name/address and I'll mail them out.
  8. I could definitely see using the explorer leafs. cut the eyes off the explorer packs and shove the whole thing under your current main. I don't think it'll lower you 3 inches though. maybe an inch or so based on what I remember from my experiments. Also, the explorer packs I used had a larger center pin than MJs so you'll need to drill out the holes in your mains should you decide to go with this plan in the end. it's not for cheap drill bits.
  9. I'd guess about a hundred gone, 200 left.
  10. yours went out on the 4th. don't know what the hell is taking so long. :fs1:
  11. can you imagine the insane run on them if someone started making a scale model MJ? I mean, I need like 30 just for myself. :rotf:
  12. it's a valid concern. but I don't think this would be the cure-all for it. for example, I'd still be using my current photo hosting site.
  13. looks like they just modified an XJ.
  14. to me, it's less about money and more about hassle. more to worry about, more to fix, more to learn, more to explain over and over how it works, more money I have to collect from guys and shuffle around. there are plenty of sites that will host photos for free. I just don't see the need to complicate things here any more than I have to. :dunno: this is a hobby, not a job.

    Back Panel

I'll bring one with me next time I drive down.
  16. could be anywhere from 4.5 to 6.5 depending on the condition of your leafs. I've got about 5" of lift up front to match 2wd leafs with an extra main. also, you're going to want more than coils for lifting the front.

If you're patient, you're only a half-hour from my parents' place. but you'd have to wait for my next visit (might be a couple months). also, the georgia pull-a-parts (pullapart.com) usually have an MJ or 2 in them.
  18. I'll never stop anyone from donating. :D
  19. need any more cards? yours went out the 28th. :( give it a few more days and then I'll resend it.
  20. just click on the image button (small greenish square above the text box) and paste the address in the popup window.
  21. been a few years but I used to build them all the time. still have a box of some of the nicer ones (gently wrapped up) and a big bin of unopened ones. :D maybe someday I'll get some spare time...
