  1. please take classifieds related talk to PM's. thanks
  2. tech Qs should really go in the tech forum
  3. 87-90 (with 84-86 needing slight mods to the speedo cable connection). you'll need an oil pressure and coolant temp senders too.
  4. nice truck! grab a full gauge cluster too if you see one.
  5. welcome to the madness! :waving: tech questions should really go in the tech forum
  6. a great tip is to use google to search our site rather than the internal search engine. it's a smarter engine plus you can put in small terms (like MJ, 2.5, etc.) just throw site:comancheclub.com in google's search bar along with the terms you're looking for
  7. while it sounds good in principle, chopping up the tech is a slippery slope that causes more problems than it solves. but you have given me the idea of maybe better organizing the DIY section. then things in there that are specific to the 2.5 might be easier to find.
  8. or their wife said they had to put it up for sale... so they did.
  9. don't sweat it. :D

  13. she's a beaut'! again! do you plan on eventually painting the new parts black? or maybe the rest of the Jeep green.?
  14. take care of yourself, Jim. keep us posted on your recovery.
  15. you might be able to dress it up with a carpeted dash cover. I assume they still make 'em. :dunno: been rockin' one in the 88 for years now. :D a word of note, I specified to them that the hole for the glovebox lock remain uncut (after the first one came to me crooked).
  16. welcome to the addiction! :waving: only three rules really. they are in a thread near the top of this forum if you're so inclined.
  17. make sure you use steel shims. or the highest quality aluminum. cheapie aluminums get a bad wrap for cracking and getting spit out.

lookin' good! what's the front bumper from?
  20. no heavy metal band? :(
  21. tried a half dozen socket extensions?
  22. if it's a wobble (rather than a vibration), it's likely your alignment. I would get that fixed first before attacking the rear. as to the rear angles, you might be able to get away with just new joints an the 6* wedges. it's not ideal, but might be close enough. but as I said, get the front aligned first or else it might interfere with the diagnosis.
  23. all steel. stamped, forged, cast or milled, it's all steel. no cast iron.
  24. very nice :D
