hold on a sec, before you run off and start spending dough, grab a friend and have them quickly saw the steering wheel back and forth from 10-2 o'clock while you examine the front for slop in the steering, track bar and ball joints. then jack up the front tires one at a time and shake it violently with your hands at 6 and 12 and then 9 and 3 o'clock. Examine your control arm bushings for excessive rot or even missing rubber chunks. report back with your findings.

also, does anyone need any stickers or club cards? or not gotten their magnet? can't get any easier to get them to you than literally handing them over.

I've seen a couple guys do it as a gag for their 2.5 trucks.

that might be cool, although I'm not sure how many he'd sell. It wouldn't have to be a huuuuuge custom emblem though, but rather a "Club.com" that could go right after a standard "Comanche". what about a "2.5L lo output"? (or more likely, a "lo output" to go after the regular 2.5L)

finally got the hood to latch properly. yup, I'm really happy with how things are turning out from a looks-perspective. of course, I've only touched on the easy stuff. Next up is replacing the suspension/axles and trying to find the chaffed wire that is causing this random limp mode issue. not to mention the upcoming engine work...

If I understand it correctly, they are going for the look of a desert race truck. it's way sillier than even the skateboard look with the wide low profile tires (at least that could possibly lead to better on-road handling). all the truck pictured above is doing is pointing the headlights at the sky and making it look like it's got a load of bricks out back. I shall now write out a similar note so I can have one on hand.

the speeds are controlled by the switch on teh dash that's run through a resistor bank inside the ducting above the passengers feet. but usually a bad resistor pack results in only highspeed, not everything but highspeed.

If anyone is bringing their MJ, my thought was to all park on the roof of the Lime garage so there's a hope of the trucks being close to each other.

a lot depends on how much food people are looking to need. I'd be perfectly happy getting a giant pretzel and a beer at Jock's. Is there enough on that menu for you and your wife?

that's why my first choice was Jock's. Nothing is set in stone though. I'm open to other ideas, plus we have to stay flexible because we don't know what the weather or the crowds will be.

there are practically infinite choices for food in Disney Springs, but a nearby option is The BoatHouse which is right next door and has a much bigger menu but is kinda pricey (I think it's $18 for a burger). I do like their dockside bar which is out on the water but still lets you order the same food. I've got no idea how busy any of these places will be on a random Sunday evening. Not sure which should be higher on the priorities list, "food options" or "quiet setting". Some of the restaurants can get quite noisy around mealtime so I'm trying to avoid those.
