  1. the Cruiser is reassembled! ended up doing that suspension bushing on the other side too since it was hanging on by a thread. ran out of daylight so tomorrow I'll go for a test drive and check my work.
  2. paid for #11 today but they are unable to pull til weds so I drove a long way for nothing. pics as soon as it's home. someone snagged the tailgate ahead of me though.
  3. oh dear god no....
  4. happens to the best of us.
  5. the brush doesn't stand a chance...

  7. novak hasn't got a 100% track record on info. close though so it's hard to say. but I wonder if @jdog or @eaglescout526 might be able to find something in the Jeep computers? maybe? fingers crossed?
  8. thank you internet.
  9. that didn't last long at all. didn't even get to whip out the popcorn emoji. being in the box is a nice touch. still not big enough for my head though.
  10. I don't remember much of it any more, but going through my photos it appears I used a bottle jack to force the axle into position. it might have been less of an issue if I had the coil compressed a bit so the axle rotated just a hair.
  11. if it makes you feel any better, guys frequently struggle with reinstalling the stock arms too. is at least one lower arm in? or are they both out?
  12. I promise it all worked out in the end
  13. that's not at ride height. that's at full droop and the bolt isn't in yet.
  14. google "cash for clunkers" and you'll find tons of info. was a bit of a dark time for old car enthusiasts.
  15. I keep looking at unique campers and think, yeah, I think I could live in that. I would need a workshop home base though.
  16. a stockish truck, doing regular truck things, can run the WJ arms without incident. yes, it could contact when offroading in twisty trails and limit your droop. Don ran them for years just fine. I trimmed mine out of curiosity rather than need.

    love it!
  18. start your build thread and share the adventure!
  19. rotate the axle. or trim a bit off the brackets.
  20. why are you unable to use the WJ arms? did you trim the steel sleeve flush with the rubber bushing?
  21. it's cleeeeeean... did he ever do a build thread about it?
  22. most of those should be in their price list. if you've never pulled a rear window, read up on it first. harbor freight sells a kit. be patient and go slow so the cable does overheat and snap too often. and be sure you're not cutting into any interior bits and only cutting the urethane glue. if you get the trim off intact, and the window pulled out intact, put the trim back onto the window because sometimes junkyards like to nickle and dime ya with every individual part.
  23. I would add 1.5" spacers and call it a day. 'tis a good lookin' truck! looks a bit familiar. is it in the registry yet?
