  1. Moab is 24 hrs from my house. :D And worth every second!
  2. That's a site you have to sign in to, so it probably won't allow hotlinking. Try saving the image and uploading it to a free host like Comanche Club Image Hosting

    Go Tigers!!

And there can't be winners without:
  4. Even with bad gas it should at least try to start. The gas in my 88 was almost 2 years old when I finally fired it up, but the truck still ran. It ran poorly, but it ran and idled. I dumped in some stabilizer and some octane boost and it ran and drove just fine.

    Go Tigers!! :jump: Tigers-->
  6. How much flex are you getting now? What precisely are you running for leafs? Are you being limited by shocks? If I can just get my longer shocks installed, my leafs will be going up until the tires touch the stick flares, and down until they max out the shackle. A longer shackle might give me a bit more droop. If nothing else, it's hard to beat the leafs for reliability. :D
  7. The v6 was 86 only. Unfortunately it's a crap-shoot as to whether the owner is wrong about the year or mistaken about the engine configuration. Both mistakes are all too common.
  8. Oh, I think Rick has the fullsize version. :teehee: That's his pic.
  9. They are here! PM me with who wants what. I have a feeling I'll have to order more. :brows:

    roll bar ???

General rule of thumb: stock ones bolt to the wheel wells, aftermarket don't, they bolt to the floor.
  11. Given identical backspacing and wearing the same tires, a 7" wide rim would still move the tire 1/2" farther out than a 6" rim. Could make all the difference in the world.
  12. For some reason I was thinking they had a pair of injectors. Dunno. I don't own a 2.5, yet. :D
  13. There's a chance one of the fuel injectors is not functioning properly.
  14. I don't think that's a "factory" manual.

If you find any F-16s in the dumpster, grab me one will ya? :D
  16. Maybe the fact that it's lower than a 4wd but still with 30" tires? I feel it gives it a great look. :D There will be some common features. I plan to take my favorite stuff from the red truck (like lining the rockers with poly bedliner and installing some tie down rails in the bed) and then add in the stuff I always wished for (like 31" tires).
  17. He's looooong gone, but I felt the need to alter his post. :D
  18. Mine already does that. But that's probably because my Ford front suspension doesn't flex much at all. In SOA form, MJ leafs can do a great job of keeping up with all but the best front set-ups. In my opionion the 3 best reasons for go coils in the rear is 1: What Brett just said 2: Hacking off the rear end to gain ground clearance 3: Boredom and the fact that designing suspensions is fun. :D
  19. The CPS tells the computer where the engine is in it's rotation and the computer won't fire until it is absolutely positive it knows exactly where the engine is in it's rotation.
  20. All I did was trim the ends of the bolt's sleeve. Don't know yet if that's all I need to do, but with the bit of trimming in the other places you see, it's all I had to do to make it fit. :D I saw an article from a guy who didn't cut anything to get them in his XJ, but we can't simple "bend" the lower control arm mounts on the body like he did.

But on that particular plane, you need clearance for both the water and the pilots head, while still maintaining a good COG. Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :chillin:

    please reply

  23. Are you talking about making the logos into decals? Currently they are simply bumper stickers and the sticker itself will always be a solid color.
  24. Yeah, I sorta miss how she used to look and drive. That was a big motivator for getting the 90. But I also wanted to add in those extra features I'd always desired in the 88, things like all-wheel-drive and 31" tires. :D
  25. Mine were whatever the typical Jeep BS was, 5.25" maybe? I forget.
