Today I approved the artwork. I was a bit disappointed that it was just a plain image. A sample hat would have been awesome, but I was sorta expecting to at least see the stitch layout in the artwork. :( Whatever. Monday I'll be putting down the deposit and then they should take 2 weeks (or so I've been told).

What size tires? Original CAT? Done a tuneup recently? How fresh is you O2 sensor?

A lot of the sorting is done by machines these days. :D And I don't know if your town does it, but if you take in all of the trash, you can sort out the biodegradables for future fertilizer.

Careful about getting your scientific info from comedians. No offense to P+T, but the problem isn't that recycling is bad like they say it is, but rather that the government was pushing to get recycling programs in place without properly studying what it takes to make them profitable. Recycling is indeed a good thing, but it needs to be run like a business and frequently it's not. That's the government's fault and they need to do better. These days there are ways to make it profitable. Heck, there's a privately owned dumpster at the high school across the street where they collect newspaper from the community and give part of the profit to the school. And I call BS on P+T's explanation on how recycling paper is bad. So they have to truck the old paper around to the various plants, yes? And so I guess that they grow the virgin trees in the vacant lot behind the paper mill? Phooey on that. Companies wouldn't use recycled paper if there wasn't profit to be had in doing so. I saw a show on the discovery channel recently that showed a company out in Cali that's making a profit from recycling everything. Oh, and I noticed that P+T never mentioned metals in their show. It takes an insane amount of energy to make aluminum from scratch but only a very little to simply melt down a pop can. And I believe steel and glass are the most recycled materials on the planet. Oh, and P+T need to get their heads out of each other's butts if they can't find any good uses for recycled materials. They sacrificed a lot of integrity for the sake of some laughs there. :mad: All recycling needs is the entrepreneurial spirit and some good ideas, and we've got plenty of both here in the US. :D

My mom is big on recycling. She can be a bit obsessive some times though. :roll:

There isn't a definitive answer to that question. Some coils will give a bit more than the advertised height and lord knows that 20 year old leaf springs may not have their original arch in them. A SOA gives roughly 5.5" above the current height. It's not like buying brand new springs.

Weld-on is super easy. You just need a buddy or nearby shop with a good welder.

Waste of money either way in my opinion. :(

You might have issues with the U-bolts interfering with the old perches.

You shouldn't need the other harness. I vaguely remember this issue popping up years ago and I believe the problem turned out to be a bad circuit card in the new cluster. The clusters should swap out directly and as long as the temp and pressure senders are swapped in, everything should work without any wiring changes. If it doesn't work, somethings broken. :(

Being that I work for the people :D I would like to run for White House some day, and if I ever do I will make sure every :USAflag: has a Jeep in the garage and a Stake on the grill :cheers: tent stake? :D or maybe wooden stake to kill vampires?

I imagine any small truck will be able to donate their rollbar as long as the rear downbars bolt to the floor or the top of the wheelwell. :thumbsup:

Got it through Premier Power Welders. It's a rewired GM unit I believe.

Chances are good that it's a problem with the CAD or Central Axle Disconnect. A simple way to eliminate this as a problem is to pull off the CAD cover on the front axle and use washers to keep the fork shifted all the time. Doing this is in no way detrimental to anything. Jeep eventually did away with the stupid design altogether. Image Not Found It's the blob of cast steel on the passenger's side of the diff with all the vacuum lines coming out of it.

Nah, you shouldn't have to. Most vacuum leaks are in the engine compartment where the lines are subject to greater wear and tear.

That's why you have to rotate the tire around twice. :D I forgot to mention that if the axle has a posi in it, then the owner would need to jack up both rear tires and rotate them around only once.

Just make sure no one charges you for dropping the trans if they do the rear main seal. Only the oil pan needs to be dropped. :thumbsup:
