    I'm not entirely certain of what you're trying to describe. In the engine? Do you have a picture? I'm pretty certain that every bolt you drop anywhere in the truck must be retrieved or it could cause horrible problems. :(

    Mine went to the coil area, not the dist. I don't know if there's an attachment point at a Jeep dist.

    Factory ratios were generally: 2.5L + 4speed manual = 3.55 2.5L + 5speed manual = 4.10 Please please don't put 35s on a Dana 35 and don't sink any money into regearing it. That axle is simply not worth it. :(

    Because finding Gl-3 rated gear oil is next to impossible, GL-5 is deadly to the synchros, and they've decided that 10-W30 is the next best thing to the original requirements. :thumbsup:

    And please don't waste that kind of money on a Dana 35. Go find an XJ/MJ Dana 44 or an Explorer 8.8 (which were available with 4.10s) and invest your money into somthing that will last. :D

    Only that I'm officially in GA. There's no internet at my parents house (looks like the neighbor with the wireless internet shut it off or whatever), so I have to run up the street to my sister's house.

    A most curious post occurred not too long ago, from a guy who had horrible blow-by and after replacing the timing chain the blow-by magically fixed itself. That's my next step for my 88 (not til springtime though). :thumbsup:
